"This was a former Hampton Inn. The properly looks newly remodeled with an 80s beach type theme. Room was clean, smelled nice, good size with modern furnishings. WiFi was slow (3down/2up). I did not use the TV. The bed/pillows were great. Mini fridge with SMALL freezer. Bathroom was OK. The shower/tub looked a bit worn for a remodeled room. Shower had good pressure but the water never got very hot (warm-ish). I did not have the breakfast. The front desk is not staffed all the time. Plenty of parking. No noise issues."

"We recently spent a night while traveling from West Palm Beach to Aiken, SC. Great location just off I-95. And such a "sense of place". Authentic low country, huge live oak trees with Spanish moss, lovely water views as we walked around and charming cottages. Very comfortable bed and a great coffee station. Perfect for a couple and a dog for a night or a weekend getaway."

"This is just the perfect place! The host is so welcoming and the place is the decorated so wonderful. Plenty of room and felt so cozy. One of the best parts was the use of the golf cart as I got to really immerse myself in the community. The cart can be used to drive the area and see stunning views, go to the restaurants/live music/drinks/karoke/pool, etc. The local people knew where I was staying because of the golf cart and I was welcomed in and treated like I belonged. The host provided a very good guide to the local area that was very helpful. One of the better weekend getaways I have found and I highly recommend this anyone that loves nature and a simpler way of life, with the convenience of WiFi. "
