“Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms.
Overall the staff at the bar and in the restaurant and around the hotel……

“I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine.
Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church.

“Not easy to find if you follow SatNav. Better to follow directions provided. Very pleasant situation in beautiful countryside. Staff were great, Room was good and reasonably comfortable but we fail to see how it qualified to be DeLux. Just little things would make a huge difference, For instance TV was mounted too high on the wall and therefore not comfortable to watch. Lighting was gloomy. “What amazing stay here for New Year’s Eve . It was the cutest place, the enormous gorgeous Christmas had me sold it was amazing and made it extra special all the little extras all the decorations.
