"The property was absolutely beautiful, perfectly placed along the Cape Fear River. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the giant flat top grill that he cooked out on every evening. The beautiful decks were sunny during parts of the day for tanning. And shady in the afternoons for relaxing with a cold drink. The inside was clean and neat, with cool hardwood flooring. The kitchen had almost everything I needed to cook everyday. We even met the owners and they were extremely kind and generous. And I'm not sure I can give them credit for the memories, but I will cherish them."

"We stayed Saturday - Monday over Memorial Day weekend. Everything was closed up after 4:00pm on Sunday until we checked out on Monday. Sunday night our internet went out and thus we had no television the rest of our stay. The room could have been cleaned a little better in the corners and low spots. Overall we enjoyed our stay! The live animals, restaurant, pond, walking trail, were all great bonuses. The room being pet friendly was important to our stay. We will definitely consider coming back again in the future!"

"We loved this cute cottage. It has a great porch with lots of outdoor furniture. The grill was nice and we appreciate that everything we needed to enjoy it was stocked. The kitchen was clean. The property is on a quiet street and the walk to the pier was very short and easy. We loved using the paddleboard and one person canoe. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hostess answers messages quickly. Board games were available but we spent most of our time on the lake. This is definitely a family friendly cottage. We will definitely be back!"
