We enjoyed our stay at the Beachwalker Villas. The condo was perfect for two couples with private bedroom and bathroom for each couple.
The view looking north across the water to Canada was spectacular and we spent a lot of time on the deck just relaxing and enjoying the view. The beach in front of the unit goes out about a half mile at low tide and it was interesting to watch the daily tidal flow.
The condo was well equipped with everything we needed and even included a bidet! The kitchen was roomy and had everything necessary for cooking. We prepared a number of meals while we were here.
There are stairs up to the unit, and stairs up to the bedrooms, so you need to be willing to climb stairs. It was warm weather while we were here in August. The windows are screened and a nice breeze off the water kept the unit comfortable.
We tried the restaurant at Semiahmoo, down about two blocks, one night and weren’t very impressed with it, rather limited menu for such a large resort. You can walk the grounds however and play corn hole there. There is a nice paved path across the street from the Beachwalker Villas that follows the spit with views of Drayton Harbor. A short drive will take you to Blaine or Birch Bay which are both cute small towns with lots of eating options. We drove to Bellingham one day and went on a three hour cruise on the Zodiac, a 127 foot schooner. You can help with raising the sails if you wish and I was even allowed to take the helm for about half an hour.
