The hospitality and friendliness was exceptional. The room was super comfy, great bed and amenities, and we were 5 minutes away (walking) from Blarney Castle and Gardens. I highly recommended this place to anyone planning to spend a day at the castle and wants a stress free commute.
Clean and Comfortable Inn above a great Restaurant and Bar. Dinner was Great and they had the best Irish Breakfast which was included in our reservation. Very Close to the Blarney Castle (within walking distance) as well as other shops and a grocery store.
Wonderful accommodation. Cosy and friendly. Staff were really helpful. Blarney is a quiet area but its easy to get to Cork City, especially as the bus stop is right outside the hotel
Comfortable, clean room. Pleasant, helpful staff. Good food. A great pub atmosphere. Lively, but I was never bothered in my room by any noise. Located in a quiet square opposite Blarney Castle, it's a great location.
Our best hotel / hosts experience in all of Ireland
Gary (the owner) personally welcomed us - such a warm person! The hotel/family has a rich history, the location is amazing and the staff is really really pleasant. We loved chatting with Gary and Jerome. The room is very nice. The location is just awesome - 2 min walk from Blarney castle. The restaurants nearby are nice too. The Muskerry arms bar is a happening place at night. All in all - a very good trip. Gary represents the best of Irish people - Thank you Gary. We were in Ireland for 8 nights and our stay in Muskerry Arms was the best one
Perfect location for a late day visit to the castle! We had a great evening with Gary and his staff enjoying a few drinks in the pub. Dinner at the downstairs restaurant and breakfast upstairs were all excellent quality!
We had a great stay at the Muskerry Inn. Even though the room is above the pub, it was very quiet and easy to get some sleep. The room is clean but was missing hand soap and soap in the shower--minor details since we had our own. The proximity to Blarney Castle is fabulous. The staff was kind and helpful. Would recommend staying here if in the area.
Loverly friendly staff a warm welcome the room was exceptionally clean very reasonable priced restaurant with excellent chowder and a good selection of mains
Great breakfast
Nice property above a busy pub but separate and quiet. Management was in pub and very helpful when we checked in, but if we needed them we had to find them there. Fortunately our stay went smoothly.
Nice place. Very comfy beds and the room was clean. I chose this place because it was close to Blarney Castle and really close to the bus stops. It literally is like footsteps away from both. Convenient! Also, I really liked the pub downstairs. Tasty food and very friendly people. Good vibes. Just don't waste your money at the restaurant. Served so little and paid a lot. Overall, great place to stay.
Quintessential Irish Pub. The rooms are clean, spacious, with a terrific breakfast in the small restaurant on the second floor. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home.
It felt comfortable from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Locals were kind, the staff prompt and amiable, and the food and drink excellent. I feel like a fool for only booking one night.
Such a great location, nearly directly across the street from Blarney Castle. The pub below is always hopping and has great atmosphere and vibe. Wi-Fi is a bit spotty, but by no means a deal breaker given everything else along with the very nice rooms.
