Wonderful find
What a pleasant surprise. Coming up to the accommodations and even checking in we had no idea what we’d get. It far exceeded our expectations. We would stay here again with pleasure. The rooms were VERY clean and comfortable.

Our experience at Garni was top notch. Very reasonable pricing for top notch accommodations. The nature setting is beautiful and the apartment that we rented was very comfortable. I would highly recommend Garni Pension if your lucky enough to visit the beautiful town of Bled.

Cosy hotel in the woods
We arrived after check in closed and our key was waiting for us which was a relief! The hotel was easy to find and well signposted from the main road. The room and en-suite were lovely. We had complimentary water on arrival. Big comfortable bed. Could have done with smaller pillows. Breakfast was nice (continental), but a bit pricey at €9 per person. We only had it on the first day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location as only a 20minute walk into Bled. Overall we had an excellent stay and would recommend this place.

Fantastic stay!
The hotel was very nice and situated around 30 minutes walk from the middle of Bled. The room was very spacious with a country home finish and an exceptionally comfy bed. Breakfast was well worth the 9 euros per person with a massive spread of both hot and cold food. The only downside was the distance from Bled which meant an expensive taxi was required to reach the hotel. We would recommend hiring a car.

Lovely location - just outside Bled
We had a lovely stay - the place is rustic and charming. Very clean. Fantastic location tucked away in the woods. The family who run the hotel are very pleasant - we really enjoyed ourselves.

Although a little out of the way, this was a beautiful place - we wish we'd had more time. I loved the hammock on the balcony. Staff was also wonderful and welcoming. My only complaint was that we had the breakfast, but there wasn't much selection, and it wasn't very satisfying - we had to eat again that morning after we left the hotel. Other than that, it was a great stay. We will definitely return.

Great facilities and nice rooms. Lots of extras available at minimal costs (breakfast, coffee, self service bar, bike rentals). The only issue was that he WiFi did it really work in our room - signal was too weak. It did work in the common areas of the hotel. Would certainly recommend!

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful stay at Garni Pibernik. The owner made us feel right at home (make sure to try the welcome cookies and pound cake). The rooms were clean and quiet, and the property is beautiful. There are all sorts of games (frisbee, badminton, chess, etc) available to guests free of charge. Although the hotel is a 5 minute drive to lake bled, the property offers bike rentals, which is convenient. I would highly recommend this place !

A highly recommended plsce to stay, rooms, building and location were excellent. I did however expect breakfast as it was on the web page,but i think was clecrical error as they used to, but there was tea, coffee and apples available. apart from that it was excellent and would recommend to my famiily and friends. Drive through the soca valley after down from the north, the most amazing road journey trough the mountains!!! beautiful!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Fantastic grounds, clean and comfortable room, lovely staff. One thing you should be aware of though is if walking back to the hotel from bled in the evening, it is located along a road in a woodland area with 0 streetlights and is completely pitch black- so make sure you have enough battery on your phone for the torch!

Great old fashioned hotel. Older style with lots of character. Great place to go and relax for a few days. We had an apartment on the 1st floor with no a/c, just a ceiling fan. Temperature was perfect. It had a kitchen and a table outside on its own patio with a barbecue.

Pension Pibernik was an interesting experience. The decor is definitely unique and is largely dependent on personal taste. The grounds are beautiful in the daylight and well maintained. Inside the rooms, we felt the beds could use some upgrading as they were the softest we have experienced during our travels. This may or may not be a deal breaker for you depending on whether or not you have a good back. The room was clean for the most part but we would recommend that the corners and ceilings be quickly dusted before guests check in as there were quite a few cobwebs in the corners and ceiling in the room. Overall the location is perfect as a base for day travels and the grounds would be well suited to keeping kids busy during the day. Parking is convenient and a bonus too. If you like rustic and aren't aftaid of spiders, this might work for you.

The inn is a bit kitschy, but charming with outdoor activities available for kids. There is a full breakfast buffet but you need to get there early to get the hot items before they run out. Room was clean but bed was too soft and pillows were lumpy and need to be replaced. Good value overall and location was pretty and quiet, and just a short drive from Bled.

Great hotel, 5 minutes druve from bled. Only suitable for people with cars. The rooms were veey clean and very comfortable. The owner was very nice and helpful. And the breakfast was nice.

Beautiful spot
Last minute booking for my wife and I on a long trip. We were looking for a cheap place to stay around bled. Have to say we were pleasantly surprised with this place. Clean, good atmosphere an functional. Is situated a wee bit out of town, but they hire bikes and scooters to fix any transport problems. Would love to make it back.

Kind of a "camp" hotel
Stayed here after a day at the lake. Very nice facility. It is a bit out of town and feels like a small camp. There were families hanging around outside all evening. The room was big and nice. The only negative was checking in. The front desk seemed surprised to see us. Said that our reservation hadn't gone through. Complained to us that Hotels.com took 15% of his money off the top. Eventually found a room for us. Then he said he couldn't take credit because his card machine was broken. We didn't have the cash so he tried the machine again for us and it worked.

Stayed for a few nights, they didn't have the room we booked available when we turned up so had to stay in an attic room with no terrace and were not offered anything in mitigation. Room was clean and comfortable and the gardens around the hotel were nice to relax in. Hotel is 20 min walk from Bled on a path alongside the main road, bring a torch for the way back as the last little bit isn't lit.

The worse experience I have ever had
Booked two nights,first only one and then added another. We came to travel in this amazing area which we did enjoy. The room looks very old but to be feank I expected nothing more as we wanted only a place to sleep and shower. When we came back to our room on the first day we found out that BOTH of the shower heads were broken and water sprays all around and the tap has a hole that also sprays water when you open it. The next day, in the morning we told the landlord's son about it and he said he will fix it during the day. We came back in the evening of the same day after a whole day travel and found out that not only that nothing was fixed, also the room was not cleaned! No fresh rowels, no Toilet paper, nothing! I came to the reception and told the landlord about it and he said he doesn't know why it happened but started to use the fact that I booked two seperate nights as an excuse, though I cleared that with his son when we just arrived. He asked me what do I need and gave me towels and toilet paper. Can give more examples like this... My recommendation is to stay away from this place. We will!

Gorgeous house in a pleasant surrounding
This hotel is located at the outskirt of Bled. The house itself is gorgeous. The rooms have been beautifully renovated so they have all the modern comfort but still have all the old characters. It is not too far from the town. You could walk into the town. The owner is very helpful and gracious. He lets me use the piano at the hotel lobby and drives me to the train station. This hotel would be great for any family who is looking for a tranquil stay in this area.

Great Place! it's 1 kilometer from the center and it's perfect,no parking problems and quiet. all the place built by the owner - milan and the personal touch and the love to the place are in every corner. the rooms big and clean,and the balkony is huge and has great view. we realy enjoyed there.

Proprietor was rude and not helpful except in readily agreeing to our cancelling the second night. This place is far from a town where parking spaces are at a premium.He has no food available. This country rustic inn is better left to the locals!

Hotel staff was great about accommodating a late check in. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils/pots which made meals very easy for us. There was plenty of storage space in the room. The outdoor facilities for children wee very nice.

Pibernik was excellent for me. The room was clean, but small. There was a fridge and a TV with several English channels. The grounds of the hotel are excellent: grassy areas, picnic tables, patio tables, forest, short walk to a river, etc. The only drawbacks are that there is nothing around and if you don't have a car, it is a 20+ minute uphill walk into town. This would be OK if they had a restaurant at the hotel or a small "store", but they do not. It appears that at some time, they had or do have a BBQ restaurant and menu, but it was not operational. The owner is friendly and the breakfast is good. I would really rate it like, a 3.5.
