Very helpful and gracious staff. The 1661 properties include many separate inns and beautiful grounds. Loved seeing the impressive Farm across the way, with the various animals. Good place to base your exploration of the island. The breakfast was delicious and expansive!

1661 Inn is a really amazing place.Year after year we see the same kind faces. It makes us feel at home. The summer interns are fun, too. The property is beautifully kept, the ocean views are just wonderful. The Farm is a delight and I love visiting the animals. Having said all that, the people of 1661 are what truely make this place special, from the owner Rita and her family to the front desk and especially the breakfast staff. Always smiling and offering help, wonderful people. Thank You!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and I was very surprised that they let us leave our stuff, even though we weren't catching the fairy until mid-afternoon, and they also allowed us to use the bathroom. And take a shower before we went home. Even after checkout!! The breakfast was the best I've ever had- unbelievable spread for the money, Delicious!
