Enjoy hiking, biking and adventures underground! This comfortable home-away-from-home is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with Notranjski Park, the Krizna Jama cave and wild Lake Cerknica all a short drive away.

Quietly situated in a small village surrounded by farmland this family-friendly house comfortably sleeps 8 guests and is the ideal choice for a tranquil escape with groups of family or friends.

Perfectly set up for alfresco living, the property is surrounded by a private garden featuring a heated swimming pool, an outdoor dining area, a BBQ and a swing where you can relax with a good book. There’s also a children\'s swing and a darts board for family fun.

The property is arranged over two floors and benefits from Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning. The spacious open-plan living area is furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, a flatscreen digital HDTV, a fireplace and an extendable dining table. This area also incorporates a newly fitted kitchen which is equipped with an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. For families with small children, there are two high chairs.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a sofa and a chest of drawers. This room also enjoys a balcony.

Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and enjoys a terrace with a wooden sofa.

Location

The property is located in Velike Bloke a small village in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. The region is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with many mountain bike routes and hiking trails for visitors to enjoy. The Notranjski Park with its population of bears, lynx and wolves is a 20-minute drive and wild Lake Cerknica a 25-minute drive.

Visitors can also explore the Škocjan Caves (a 50-minute drive), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Postojna Cave (a 40-minute drive), famous for its stalactites and stalagmites or the Krizna Jama cave complex (a 10-minute drive) where visitors can experience the magic of exploring the underground lakes and waterways in kayaks.

Packed with history, Slovenia’s charming capital, Ljubljana makes a great day trip (a 1-hour drive). A tour of its medieval castle is not to be missed. Neither is a visit to the Central Market where you can find fresh local produce and regional delicacies. The is a restaurant and a grocery store within a 5-minute drive of the accommodation.

The closest international airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) approximately a 1-hour drive from the accommodation.
