"This cabin was perfect. All the updates and furnishings were amazing! The cabin felt very cozy and the living spaces also felt open & spacious. The property was beautiful with the stream and mature trees. We visited Eau Claire, hiked at a nearby nature conservancy along the Chippewa River and relaxed at the cabin (we did not want to leave). We hope to return soon! This is really a special place!"

Communication was top notch, there was some road construction going on that we were made aware of from the owners, with a detailed route around it prior to arrival. We were blown away by the cleanliness of the cabin - Along with many fun, eclectic antiques that all had a story to tell. Really enjoyed waking up to the beautiful view of the ice covered lake. "Outside doesn’t really reflect the inside which was very nice. We tried to ice fish in the bay with only 1 small perch which we put on a tip up for a few hours with no success. Hit some local bars in the area, the Minnow has excellent service and a 8 oz cod that was what you come up north for. Tim the bar tender was a great guy and even bought us a round later on when he was on the other side of the bar when his shift was done. Highly recommend this place. "We really enjoyed our stay on the Chetek chain of lakes. The house was well cared for, clean and had everything we needed to make our family vacation effortless. The owners were very friendly and responsive and the location was perfect. It was very nice not having a lot of boat traffic to listen to while sitting outside on the patio but we liked that it was just a short boat ride to bigger part of the lake."

"We were stunned at how much you got for your money here. The apartment was clean and well-appointed with a full kitchen. It had a washer and dryer and two huge bedrooms with a tv in each major room for a total of 3. The location is convenient to anywhere nearby and communication was easy and quick when we had questions. Highly recommend a stay at The Fairway. We will come here again. A lot for the money! "

"We had to come last minute for a funeral and, due to Jazz Fest, nothing smaller was available that was pet friendly. So we booked this house, which we have always been curious about. Although it was a bit large for 2 of us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host, Karen, was always available and answered almost immediately when I had a question. The house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated with so much provided for guests to use. We would recommend it in a heartbeat. I would...
