Enjoyable week

We had a great stay. Home has an amazing view, lots of amenities, and was well maintained. One note - while the home sleeps 12, the "bunk room" no longer has 2 bunk beds, but rather 2 twin beds. While this was not a problem for us, something prospective renters should know.

Aspen Memories Reunion

Overall, our stay at Aspen Memories was great. The location was quick to grocery stores, shops, etc. An equidistant 10 minute ride to downtown Blowing Rock and Downtown Boone. The house was large enough for our group of 12 to sleep comfortably. When we arrived, all of the bed sheets were laid all over the house, couches, chairs, etc. I assume the cleaning crew did not have enough time to dry the sheets between visits. Other than having to fold the sheets and remake the beds, we had an enjoyable stay. Fantastic view from the porch!

Gorgeous spring weekend!

Travelled with a group of girlfriends in our 30s for a long weekend getaway. The view from the deck is absolutely out of this world! Thoroughly enjoyed waking up to it every morning. The hot tub was also a great touch after hiking. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, appliances, pots and pans, and wine glasses (much needed). The space is perfect. Plenty of room for us in the common area to relax in the evening. All in all we absolutely LOVED our stay. Great location for skiing, hiking, relaxing. The location is directly between Boone and Blowing Rock, so within 20 minutes to restaurants and downtown. Definitely a bit of an adventurous drive to the top where the house is located (but very doable), however I could see how this could be challenging in snow, heavy rain, or fog. All in all, would 100% recommend for a stay. Thanks for having us!

Ski weekend

We had a great time even though it ranined a lot during our ski weekend. There was enough space for adults and kids to both spread out. The hot tub was also clean and well maintained.

Presidents Day weekend

A fantastic stay

We had 6 adults and 6 kids, age 2 to 11. The house was clean, had plenty of room, the beds were comfortable, and the view was the best we've had in all of our 30 years in the mountains. The moms were delighted to find the downstairs had carpet, a plus for little ones. The come-back-again vote was unanimous--best house ever.

Great views, great location, great house.

Aspen Memories was a great mountain vacation house. House is well appointed, spacious for 2 families, and has everything you need for a trip away including a Bluetooth soundbar and snow shovels for winter months. House was very clean with updates throughout. Perfect location between Blowing Rock and Boone with a 10 minute trip to get anywhere in town. The roads did get plowed and salted all the way to the driveway but I would recommend 4WD and a good set of tires during winter months as there are some steep inclines up the mountain and we drove in while it was snowing. Hopefully we can make it back in the future. Thanks.

The house was perfect - it was decorated beautifully, roomy and very comfortable.

We had three families that enjoyed the property over New Years. We enjoyed a day on the slopes but also a day in the cabin playing cards and watching football. Overall, it was a great 4 day get away.
