LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! HOT TUB, and Game room with Billiards. Should you choose to leave this cabin, you are just 5 - 10 minutes from area activities such as TWEETSIE RR, Outlet shopping, Blowing Rock, Appalachian State University, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wahoos Water Rafting, Mystery Hill, walking on the Middlefork Greenway, lots of wonderful restaurants, and bars. Over 3500 sqft of just gorgeousness and more. 4WD required. 4WD and snow chains required in the winter months.

A Ring doorbell with audio and visual capabilities and a camera on the driveway has been added.

Great location!

Nice cabin. Love that each bedroom has a king bed, and the beds were very comfortable. Location is central and only a few minutes from shopping and restaurants. We were responsible for taking all trash at the end of our stay off the premises to a dump, however the dump is closed on holidays and our check out day was MLK, so we did contact the cabin owner and she approved for us to leave it bagged in the garage. This actually was a good save for us as we wouldn’t have had room to take it with us and would’ve had to make an extra trip to take it before leaving. The internet was spotty- worked fine at the beginning of our stay but then tapered off, however I messaged the owner and she promptly responded and said she would have it looked into. Over all we had a really nice time.

Awesome cabin close to everything!

We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was huge and there was plenty of space for everyone. The only challenge is the driveway (recommend 4wd to make it easier). One odd thing was: you have to carry off your own trash which was weird. Not often do I go on vacation and afterwards have to find trash receptacles to get rid of the trash. Anyway, highly recommend this and the communication with the property manager was great! Timely responses so thank you! Another quick note, this cabin does have a Kuerig coffee maker and a traditional coffee maker. FYI

Cleanliness was horrible

First off the property was extremely hard to get up to with two huge switch backs which we had to put our car in 4 wheel drive. When we got into the cabin the lighting was horrible, some lights didn’t even have light bulbs. We found a persons sock in the main bed which totally freaked us out. Wendy had said there was plenty of towels available but could never find them until I did the laundry and found the extra towels in the dryer. The foose ball table downstairs was broken and the pool table pockets kept falling out and the balls would fall on the floor. Last but not least probably the worst of it all was the DUST! There was caked up dust everywhere on the fans, furniture, fire place, lights, you name it. The floor was horribly dirty my son was in a walker and his pjs feet were black from being on the floor. The dust was so bad that we had to end our trip a day earlier. My infant son is allergic to dust mites and my allergies were killing me we just had to get out of there ASAP! Definitely not worth the price we paid. I messaged the owner trying to get refunded for our last nights stay but have heard nothing from her. I decided to let her know the status of her house and make it right before I wrote the review but no answer from her!

House is reasonable even though expensive for what it has to offer. The biggest problem is the noise

From the nearby highway making enjoying the outdoors , deck and hot tub impossible . Very steep driveway . Very messy turnaround with workers in the house way after check in time and house dirty. The good points are location , and excellent bed. Not coming back.
