「The place was clean and bedding comfortable. The 2 bedroom listing was a bit deceiving, the 2nd bedroom also includes the kitchenette, dining area and no living or lounging space. The space was very tiny and cramped. The 1 bedroom was a nice size and the bathroom was in there. There was only 1 window and it was high on the wall. The outdoor space was very small. For me it felt a bit claustrophobic and not worth the price we paid.」

「This home is an absolute gem in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood! It’s a fantastic mix of antique charm and modern conveniences. The location is superb — a perfect jumping off point to Eureka, Ferndale, and the Redwood National and State Parks. The Humboldt Community Forest trails are just a few steps off the backyard. My kids loved the basketball hoop! We feel so lucky this listing was available for our trip, and we would book again in a heartbeat.」

「This is a delightful location. It's very peaceful and quiet. The burgeoning garden outside the door is lovely! It's possible to walk up the street and right onto a hiking path through a redwood forest, and have the path essentially all to yourself. 「Not disclosing the availability of the driveway was a problem. I see why it’s not available but loading and unloading up that very steep driveway was difficult. Also, a floor plan of the property on the listing to understand adjacencies would have been very useful for planning purposes. The amenities of the house were very nice and much appreciated. Quantity and quality of cooking equipment was excellent. Coffee and tea service was outstanding! I would recommend this property」
