Visit Trinidad and further north to the most extensive lagoon system in the United States. Hike through trees up to 3000 years old in either of the major redwood parks 40 minutes south and north. Or head east into the mountains to the 6 rivers area for outrageous scenery and river sports. Humboldt is all about NATURE: Hike, bike, surf, raft, kayak, paddle board.
