  • Summary:

    Welcome to Above The Clouds, a premier 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath luxury retreat perched at the highest point of the ridge. Designed for large families and groups seeking both adventure and relaxation, this modern-rustic cabin offers breathtaking, long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from every level.



    The Space:

    - Pet friendly!

    - Cozy fireplace hearth. (NOTE: The fireplace is inactive(turned off) from May 1 - October 1 due to the warmer weather)

    - Fire pit with a mountain view

    - Access to Benton MacKaye Trail

    - Modern furniture from luxury brands like West Elm, Pottery Barn, and Article.

    - Free high-speed Wi-Fi

    Q: Can I park on the street?

    A: NO street parking whatsoever. You must park in the driveway. 4 car parking maximum.



    Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

    A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest.



    Q: Do you allow pets?

    A: Our vacation rentals are pet-friendly. We allow up to two pets under 60 lbs each, with a $150 pet fee.



    Q: Where is the nearest hospital?

    A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 18 minutes away.



    Q: How are the road conditions in the winter?

    A: The local community maintains the roads so that they can be easily accessed with a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. We have also seen plenty of Honda Civics do just fine!



    Q: What type of security system do you have in place?

    A: We use smart locks that change codes with every guest who stays at our cabin. We also have security cameras on the grounds.

Stayed in this beautiful cabin 6 nights for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint! We had plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 dogs. The fenced area was great for the dogs. All beds and bedding very comfortable. One thing I would suggest is to get to house during day the first time to see the lay of the road then returning day or not is fine.Bring a flashlight, you could loose power! The large deck is beautiful with plenty of seating. Pictures do not do this home justice. Can't wait to return!

House is amazing - great view from the rooms. Try-plex so you are not onto of others that are with you. Amenities are well thought-out including kitchenware as well as shower stuff. Lots of TVs and entertainment in the house for those days you dont leave. Recommend.

Beautiful Cabin

This is a beautiful cabin with plenty to do. The drive up is a bit steep and has some potholes to watch out for but my sedan made it up fine. Easily one of favorite cabins ive ever been to, would definitely come back.

The photos do the view no justice!!! It was absolutely stunning. We actually sat in the driveway a little longer than we should have bc the view was soooo hard to leave. The drive up to the cabin was a bit nerve wracking but worth it once you stepped into this gorgeous house with the amazing view! Everything you need to entertain the family young and old! We played pool, enjoyed the hot tub and even played Pac-Man! We will definitely be back!!
