Absolutely beautiful house!! We had the best time! The only “negative” was the very steep gravel driveway…two of the cars couldn’t make it up. But it was worth the walk!

Family Retreat

We have 4 adult children (24-31) plus spouses and 1 infant grandchild spread across the southeast. We had a rare opportunity to gather everyone. Aska Lodge in Blue Ridge served as the perfect place to host everyone plus some additional family for day time visits. The Lodge's four bedrooms are large and very well appointed. The living and gathering spaces, both indoor and outdoor, were plenty spacious for our nine plus several other daytime visitors. The views from the house are gorgeous. The property sits next to a national park and hiking trails. Several of us did a great hike while we were there. The pool provided us with a very nice gathering area as well. The entire house is well furnished including the kitchen. We were able to cook for 16 on the grill. We did adhere to the AWD request. The approach is well graveled but steep. Easy for AWD, but 2 wheel drive would likely rut the gravel if you attempted it. Altogether, the house made for a great family gathering.
