Bear Rapids was great! The cabin is large and clean.

Bear Rapids was great! The cabin is large and clean. The property is very pretty, with access to the Cartecay River. The road to get in is easy to drive and the entire driveway is paved. We had a small problem with the hot tub that was immediately resolved. Definitely would recommend staying here. It was great for Oct but would be great in summer too. We only use Blue Sky Cabin Rentals! We have never had any issues in any of their cabins. When we stayed once with another cabin rental company in Blue Ridge, we actually had bugs and rodents in the cabin. It wasn’t cleaned very well either. We have rented from Blue Sky 4 times now and always have spotless cabins. And any issues that occur are very promptly resolved.

It was great.

It was great. Nice and clean. Very relaxing. Much needed time away and it was great:) It was great. When they called the moening after arrival to he sure we got there fine I asked about the canoe we rented and she told me she would call me back to let me know where the maintenance man placed it and she called back within 3 minutes! Than we called later that night to ask about a lighter and she told me where it was!

We had a wonderful weekend.

We had a wonderful weekend. I sat on the deck over the water and read. We ate most meals on the porch. We relaxed in the hot tub. Very comfortable and peaceful.

The property was beautiful - perfect for our family! It was clean, well-stocked, and quiet.

The property was beautiful - perfect for our family! It was clean, well-stocked, and quiet. The children loved being able to go fishing off of the deck overlooking the river. Even with the rain, it was such a wonderful place to stay. It was large enough for all of us (2 adults, 4 young children) and we never ran out of things to do. Thank you for the awesome experience for our family! The Blue Sky team was a pleasure to work with, as always. This was our third stay in one of the cabins this year (the first one with the children). Unfortunately, we experienced a pretty bad storm that resulted in a lengthy power outage. The team couldn't move us to another cabin since they were sold out due to the holiday weekend, but they made sure that we were taken care of properly. They assisted with getting the power restored, sent cleaners to help remove the spoiled food, and constantly checked on us. We realize that the weather was completely out of their control but they still took the time to make sure that we were comfortable and happy.

Bear Rapids Everything was good... except for the Loft bathroom.. The toilet wouldn't flush. Then on Saturday the WFI would not connect.

Bear Rapids Did not like this place as well as Ritz on the River.

Bear Rapids Did not like this place as well as Ritz on the River. Access to river could be somewhat challenging due to the number of steps and the incline. Lighting inside cabin and on back porch was poor. Hard to read by and grill after dark.
