Awesome birthday weekend!

We had such a great time! The host was quick to respond and I could have lived in this cabin forever! We enjoyed the back porch, fishing spot, and all the activities in the house.

Perfect stay!

We loved everything about our stay! Beautiful house, everything we could have needed/wanted was available. Enjoyed the hot tub and game room both so much we barely left the cabin! Allison was great at communicating before our stay and answered every question I had quickly! We definitely plan to return, our favorite new getaway!

Perfect Blue Ridge get away!

Fun Time in Blue Ridge

We had a great time in Blue Ridge. The cabin was perfect for our family and just a short drive to downtown. The house was cozy and comfortable and was very nicely furnished, with lots of fun activities available. It had a great layout for our family of five and the nice view and access down to the creek was an added benefit. Communication with the owner was easy. We would certainly rent this house again.

Lovely

Wonderful time. Conveniently located near town but enough distance from neighbors for privacy. We enjoyed the town of Blue Ridge but didn’t want to leave the cabin. Kids loved the game room and fire pit the most. Owners were very accommodating.

Great Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect weekend getaway for the family. The house was exactly as described. There are plenty of things for the kids to do while at the house. Downtown Blue Ridge is only about 10 minutes away. There are plenty of things to do and places to eat. I suggest going to the swan Drive-In while you are in town!.

Relaxing weekend get away

The house was perfect for our needs. It is in a quiet area with a creek to sit by and plenty of games to entertain. Plenty of spaces inside and out to spread out if wanted . Would definitely return.

Mountain stay

Everything was great and the host was wonderful. It was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night as a car race track is very close. So if you want peace and quiet on the weekend this is not the place. Other than the two nights it was perfect The Blue Ridge lake marina was great and has excellent food

Spacious and comfortable

The property was beautiful! The three levels and large living areas make the property spacious and comfortable. The whole family loved hanging out in the game room. The furnishings were very nice and the cabin was well decorated and very clean. Would love to come back!

Fall visit

Loved the house. Very clean and well stocked! This was our favorite game room of any house we’ve ever rented! We wished the creek was a bit more shallow so the kids could walk around in it and explore more. It was deeper than we thought. Everything else about the house was great!

Cozy cabin

We really enjoyed our stay and communication with the owner was great. Property was as described. The only disappointment inside was the very small, dated and dark shower stall in the main bathroom. It also needed a deep clean. The rest of the cabin was spotless but it would have been nice if the outside areas had been cleaned as well as the windows, which were very dirty. The game room was a big hit!

Pleasant and Relaxing

The drive into the neighborhood is amazing and the log cabin is very nice and private! Most of Blue Ridge rentals are so close together but here you feel like no one is nearby! It’s very spacious, cozy and relaxing with all the deck levels and outdoor seating options!. The hostess, Allison, went above and beyond in her “hostess duties!” This is the most pleasant rental we’ve ever stayed in due to the attention to detail in the extra details like more than I trash bag, paper towels, hand soap, etc. we didn’t need to run out for anything! The cabin is very comfortable, spacious and well appointed with all the necessities needed and then extras. You will have a very pleasant stay! And driving around Blue Ridge is some of the most spectacular mountainous scenery!

It was beautiful. The time we came didn't allow to much fun in the creek, the methane had been bubbling up. Not an owner issue haha. Just a mother nature one. Everything was clean for the most part. I'm a duster, so I always see that first. Probably a me problem. I did pick up some trash that was clearly past guests, but it was in hard to see places for a cleaner, so not upset about that. We had a fantastic time. It was everything we need to stay occupied. Everything being so close, considering it's the mountains, was awesome. We went apple picking, bought moonshine, looked for mushrooms to cook, had fires every night, enjoyed the hot tub every half hour, went to the lake, saw a water fall, and made fairy circles with stones. Couldn't have asked for more. They communicated with us well, seemed really kind. The driveway isn't as bad as all the rest around. Our one wheel wonder did just fine getting there. We were even able to door dash to this location! Keep that in mind if you are up in the air on which cabin to stay in. This one is set up to keep you from needing any kind of crazy experience staying in a cabin to enjoy your visit. The raceway is close enough to hear the cars practice. Loved that! Not joking. But if you wouldn't like that, the raceway actually posts the schedule so you can avoid staying during an event. Although I'm pretty sure you'd hear it no matter where you were. All in all, for us and our interests. It was as close to perfect as a person could get.

Perfect getaway spot in the mountains

Very late getting to this, but had to make sure I left a review for this amazing vacation spot. To start, it was wonderful working with the host who was extremely prompt in responding to any questions and the instruction emails made everything an absolute breeze. The cabin was exactly as listed. It had all of the things that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils to cook whatever you wanted. There were plenty of towels to use for showers and the hot tub without having to do any laundry for the 3 nights we were there. The game room was where we spent a lot of time with the kids. They loved having the pool table and shuffle board at their beckon call. There were a few board games as well. The cabin location was just far enough off of the beaten path to feel like you were away in the woods, but just a short drive to get to everything you needed. I highly recommend staying at this property, or really any managed by this host. I do not think you will be disappointed!

Lovely getaway

We loved the setting of the home. It was easy to find, away from town, and it was very peaceful. We were impressed with its cleanliness and it had everything we needed. It was nice to have plenty of towels and washcloths for a change and not having to wash linens every day. It was also nice to have bedrooms on individual floors. The only 2 things I would recommend to make the place better is more comfortable outdoor seating. The lower deck is a great spot to enjoy but the Adirondack chairs are not comfortable very long, and more seating is needed on the screened porch/deck. I have to add that the owner should consider getting a curved shower rod for the bathroom on the bottom floor. It would make a huge difference! I did the same at my home and we couldn’t believe how much more room it gave in our son’s shower. Our teenage son and his friend enjoyed the pool table and we “older” ones enjoyed Ms Pac-Man lol. If you’re looking for a nice, peaceful and clean place to stay away from the hustle and bustle, this place is great! We definitely plan to return!
