Everything about this cabin was great. Ready-to-go hot tub, great view, beautiful woods, paved street, easy access and parking at the cabin, super clean, two bedrooms below with their own bathroom, master bath and additional bathroom on ground-level floor, and of course dog-friendly. Amazing Mountain View cabin

This home was perfect for our family trip. The view from the deck was beautiful both morning and night. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and lots of family games around the table. We enjoyed the train ride, white water rafting and visiting the orchards. We will definitely consider staying at this lovely home the next time we visit Blue Ridge.

Beautiful Cabin with all the details included for a great family vacation. The owners are very responsive and ensured my stay was a 5 star quality. Being pet friendly is the best perk, cause the pups got to come with on the vacation. My family loved the cabin and all the exciting things to do in Blueridge. Would recommend to any family.

This is such an amazing location and cabin. Extremely clean, the owners are the sweetest people ever, and it exceeded all expectations in every way. The mountain view is WAY more beautiful in person and the pictures don’t do it justice. I will be booking here every time I come to Blue Ridge from now on.

We had a wonderful girls trip with my mom, aunt and cousin. This cabin was a great retreat allowing us to just relax and catch up. It’s close enough to Blue Ridge for the activities there, but it’s just far enough away to be out of the traffic and tourists. It’s extremely easy to get to and the view is beautiful. The hosts were extremely responsive anytime we had questions. The cabin had everything we needed. There were multiple pillow options, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked and we appreciated the availability of travel size toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc) even though we brought our own. I also can’t stress enough how clean the cabin was! I’ve traveled a lot and this cabin was one of the cleanest I’ve ever experienced. The house was stocked with games and puzzles and we left a puzzle behind for others to enjoy too. I would definitely book this cabin again in the future.

Million dollar views! Hot tub was a plus. We cooked breakfast on the big Blackstone griddle. Having 2 separate living areas/sleep quarters was ideal for 2 families. Communication and ease of check was excellent!

Remote working getaway

There were a few items that have us rating this as a three out of five. 1) No usable closet in the master bedroom 2) Surrounding area around firepit not level enough for comfortable sitting 3) For an extended stay, kitchen lacked adequate cooking items such as sauce pans, spatulas, etc... The views from the deck were beautiful and going into town was great. Nice shops and good restaurants. (I suggest trying Harvest on Main) For shorter stays I'm sure the house is just fine, but we were there for 30 days and believe that with a few minor changes, this is a 5 star getaway.

Relaxing Girls Weekend

Van and Pam’s Flamingo Mountain Lodge was the perfect place for five mom friends to load up a minivan and get away and relax for a long weekend. This cabin has all the comforts of home and then some! We played games, watched movies by the fire, cooked in the fully stocked kitchen, and lounged in the hot tub. All of the beds were very comfortable, and every bedroom had a spectacular view. Van and Pam are excellent hosts; very responsive, kind, and accommodating! Thank you for sharing your space with us.
