Great Spot for Families!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Poplar Creek! My husband and I brought our 3 young children (age 1, 4, and 6) and my in-laws. Everything was clean and set up well. The kitchen was well-stocked. My kids loved the little hideaway under the basement stairs next to the pool table. The creek had flooded before we arrived, so it was a bit muddy down by the fire pit and creek area, to say the least. We loved putting on our rain boots and sloshing around in the mud, though. This cabin is totally secluded with some nice flat areas for the kids to play ball, lots of beautiful porch space to enjoy the shade, and lots of area to roam and explore the woods. At times, we wished there had been a TV in the main floor living area to keep up with March Madness, but then again it was nice to enjoy the peace and quiet. That would have been our only real complaint, and I'm not sure I was even all that unhappy about it. Highly recommend! We hope to be back someday!

Great spot!

We took a family trip and this was a great house in the woods! The river was really nice. The house is nicely laid out. The yard was great including the fire pit. Grill worked great. Kitchen had everything we needed. We prefer a Keurig for coffee so we just brought our own so no big deal. AC worked great. We drank the water from the frig so if you have reusable water bottles no need for bottled water.

Excellent outdoor experience for family

Daughter & her family met us half way from opposite ends of the country.. Children ages are 15. 12 & 9. They never had a down moment. If not busy with Community activities offered, they found lots of other fun things to do outdoors. Phones were mostly not working so good for them to be off their devices. Fun shopping; stores for everyone. Beds were comfy, cabin was very clean. Restaurants were great & really enjoyed shopping at the orchard market. Only negative was we needed more time to be together!

Beautiful house

My family met in Georgia to see other family that lived local. The cabin was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed from pots and pans to salt and pepper. We didn’t have any trouble getting into the house with the keypad. The only negative was the hike down to the water. Boy are my legs tired 😊. All in all I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family!

Very very nice , furnishings upscale , property immaculate condition . Quiet area but convenient to Orchards and shopping if needed . recent improvements to creekside area and firepit . Gas grill and plenty of room for our large family ... owners and booking very easy to process .

Great Vacation

Thank you for a wonderful experience this week! We loved our stay. The house was the perfect space with plenty of room for our family of 10. The location was private and quiet. Our kids loved the creek and begged to play every day. It was close to Mercier Orchard and not far from downtown Blue Ridge which has quite a few quaint shops and good restaurants (including an awesome new playground). We saw a lot of wildlife around the house including rabbits, wild turkeys, and deer. The property managers were quick to answer questions and very helpful! We will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family.
