They house was beautifully decorated and had everything you need. On mountain roads but pretty easy to find. A nice location and it was very quiet while we were there.

Great stay

The location and space were great. Everything was as described - even though there are other cabins in the area it feels nice and secluded. Really tastefully decorated. Fire pit and lake not too far of a walk, everything was perfect for a long weekend. I’ve been to plenty of cabins in North Georgia and this one was one of the best!

We came to Lazy Lake for our anniversary and it was an amazing stay. We felt so cozy and loved the lake and hot tub. We wished we stayed longer so we could start a fire too. Just a few things to note: 1. we couldn’t find anything to start a fire so bring your own matches/oil to start one! 2. There is no coffee provided so make sure to bring some if you want to use the coffee pot 3. On the VRBO app, it shows check in and check out at different times than the property manager communicated. We used the app to book everything so when we saw the typical time of 11 AM we planned accordingly. I didn’t even see there were other times stated anywhere else so day of check out we got a call at 10:30 asking us why we were still there past 10, and when I said what the app stated, I was told I was wrong, which was unfortunate since that was the truth. After explaining what the app said again, they admitted that sometimes the apps say something different. We ended the call on good terms but I would just ensure this doesn’t happen to you because we had to rush out while the cleaning person waited on us. It was not an ideal way to end our time at the property which we very much enjoyed.
