Fall Getaway

Great getaway for my husband and I. Local restaurants were great! We also loved Mercier Orhard. The cabin was our fav so far and we would totally stay again! Views were amazing, porch, fireplace and we played a lot of pool! They have games, tvs in all the rooms…just a fantastic place. I have to brag on Ginnefer as she was THE best host ever. Anything I needed, she answered immediately. She was incredibly kind, helpful, accommodating and understanding!!! : ) Amazing trip!!

Beautiful cabin

When we arrived at the cabin upon entering we were surprised by a strong smoke smell from the fireplace. Evidently, someone must have started a fire with the damper closed. The cabin was very clean and in a great location. It has breathtaking views from the deck. I would definitely rent it again the next time we visit Blue Ridge.

Logging memories stay

Disappointed with location, view, and cleanliness of this cabin. Neighbors and highway very close by. Constant sound of cars on nearby highway. Woke up to a neighbor using a very loud blower for hours. Not much for yard space and no known trails to venture on from cabin. I selected this cabin due to the description of the view and the beautiful soaking tub in the master and I was disappointed with both. Too many trees block the view even from the highest deck. The jets for the master tub were full of mold even after they sent cleaners over to re-clean them. The water came out of the faucet so slow it takes way too long to fill enough to enjoy and still be warm. We attempted to open windows, but every window throughout cabin was disgustingly dirty. Light fixtures inside and on all decks look like they haven't been cleaned in a long while. My low car had trouble with the awkward driveway. The beds and couches were all very comfortable and the cabin was very nicely decorated.

Great cabin

This property made our stay in blue ridge so enjoyable. We had 3 families stay and each of us had enough of our own space. The common areas were inviting and we felt just like we were at home. The porches and views are beautiful and this cabin was so relaxing to be at!

Mountain getaway

We had a great time. Property was beautiful. Only complaint would be the couches in the living room and no king bed. Other than that, there is a great game room downstairs that we used daily. Views were amazing!!! Manager contacted me within minutes of any issues I had. Would stay there again.

Great time getting away from work and the city. Very peaceful. Everything you need is there already, just have to buy the food and Walmart is 5 mins down the road. Perfect relaxing getaway.

Wonderful property

The property was very clean and as advertised. We took in the phenomenal view while drinking our morning coffee from the large deck. The kids had their own area to watch TV and play pool. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cabin...awesome treatment by owner!

Cabin has fantastic mountain views. Nice furniture, a good pool table, a new grill connected to main gas line, and plenty of firewood for fireplace. We had to cut short our stay because a thunderstorm (Zeta) knocked out power. Owner is great at communicating and has been very pleasant to deal with. I will surely rent this cabin again!

Amazing stay

This place was great! Super easy to find and a great space for a getaway! All bedrooms are on separate floors with their own bathrooms! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Hot tub heated up pretty quickly which was nice! Every level has a nice deck as well which was great to to hang out on and play games! The house also has games already! Super close to some some cute restaurants and downtown area ! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is undoubtedly beautiful and has an amazing view of the mountains. It is also super close to downtown Blue Ridge which is fantastic. The reason I am rating it as 4 stars were two reasons. First, when we arrived at the cabin there was a strong smell of fish. It was obvious that the people who checked out that morning had cooked fish in the cabin during their stay. I called the property manager to let her know. She was surprised because the cabin had just been cleaned and disinfected (the cleaning people were pulling out of the driveway when we arrived.....so they were definitely there). I doubt the cabin had been disinfected because all we could smell was the strong fish odor. She said the cleaning person would come back to give me some air freshener. The cleaning person came back with one can of air freshener. I proceeded to spray the entire contents of the deodorizer. Unfortunately the air freshener did absolutely nothing to rid the smell. I tried to open the windows on the main floor (which all had screens) but they were locked with a "pin" device that I could not find to open them. Next, I opened the doors to air the cabin out but that just let in a bunch of flying insects. Long story short, the cabin still smelled like fish when we departed after 3 nights. I hope after reading this review that the property owner asks guests not to cook fish in their cabin. The second issue we encountered was the grill. The grill was old and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. When we went to cook our food only one burner out of four worked (the one on the far left). It was very obvious a new grill should be purchased for this property. I've honestly never given a 4 star review of any property before, but I was pretty upset by the awful smell of fish that lingered our entire stay. Neil G. Woodstock, GA
