Another great stay!

This was the third year we’ve been up with a group of 8 and had another great stay. We found a little general store/deli just down the road and had a fantastic lunch out on the patio after hiking at Fightingtown Creek nature area which is only about 15 minutes from the cabin. You really do have to see this place to believe it—it’s awesome.

Everything was great and will definitely be back. One thing that would have made check out much easier would be to have empty trash cans, when we arrived one was completely full and the other was half filled. We made it work tho and it was a great stay! Very friendly staff and easy check-in.

Beautiful property. Only one suggestion, the lighting is extremely dim in the bath's it's a little difficult to see , but that' my only thought. The property was amazing! Great and very attentive staff.

Long View Lodge

The property was incredible. Amenities were awesome from the green egg to the wolf range. The view was majestic. Drinking coffee in the morning taking in the beauty of the mountains to finishing off the evening with a glass of wine star gazing and seeing satellites fly by. Just great. Will stay again in the future.

Everything was beautiful and just as pictured. The main floor balcony middle peak has a large bat family so be aware of them and their droppings. But after all they do live in the woods near by so it’s not unexpected. Very helpful and friendly

One can tell the decor in this log home has been carefully curated. So charming! The kids bunk room was FANTASTIC! The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked steaks on the Big Green Egg. The only negative was it needed to be dusted.

This property is beautiful.

This property is beautiful. The pictures hardly do it justice but they do accuracy portray the size and features a of the property. If anything, they undersell it because it truly is an amazing home and our large group fit perfectly. The willow creek cabin rentals company was incredible helpful, accommodating and friendly throughout the entire rental process. I will likely only use one of their cabins moving forward because it was so much different than any other rental company I’d worked with.

The views from Long View Cabin were amazing and the cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail is top notch. It was the perfect size for our party of 9, ranging in age from 2 to 68. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals and then some. The ‘kids’ spent a lot of time in the game room playing foosball and air hockey. There was a nice selection of board games and DVD’s. I was concerned about the driveway after reading some of the reviews. It was very steep but we made it with no problems. We had a F-150, Honda CRV and Chrysler Pacifica minivan. We would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends!!

I would make sure that the house is properly cleaned. I have a picture of a guest sink that was honestly really dirty and was appalled to see it. The guest staying in that room didn’t make a big deal out of it, but once I saw it I realized he was being polite. It was really gross. There were no trash bags anywhere to be found, no charcoal (we called and that was remedied) but the big green egg was full of cigarette butts and the fire pit had trash (cans of beer) in it. We moved them out of the way but it was gross. Everything else was very nice Very courteous and easy to work with. Donna was wonderful when booking.

Spectacular!

This place is awesome. The pictures give you an idea, but you really have to go there to fully appreciate it. Went up with friends for a relaxing fall weekend and had a blast. It’s about 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, so it was a easy (and beautiful) drive into town. The kitchen if fully stocked and ready for gourmet meal prep. There are so many sitting nooks that you can find a new “favorite “ spot several times during your stay. Overall just a really great experience. One caveat I would mention is that the driveway is really steep and fairly long. We were there in November and with a blanket of fallen leaves over the concrete getting in and out was challenging. The two-wheel-drive vehicles in our party couldn’t make it up because the leaves made it so slick the tires would just spin. We had to use the all-wheel-drive vehicles to ferry the others (and their luggage) up to the house. I also had to use the downhill descent function to get down and still slid some.

Family Girls Weekend Christmas Celebration

This property is amazing.!! The view is breath taking!! The kitchen lacked nothing and is stocked with every appliance you will need to prepare your meals. This home is well built and very unique. There are views of the sun rise and sun set from every area of the home, including the bedrooms. The bottom level bed nooks allowed all 8 of us to have our own beds!! I would recommend this property to any family looking for a place to call home for a few days in the mountains!!!
