Nice Stay

The house is smaller than the pictures indicate - especially the living space in main house and one of the bedrooms. Very well appointed home, but a little disappointed in not being able to use the fireplace - but somewhat understandable. The landline phone is not reliable, as we had to use it numerous times due to not having internet/wifi (really the router needs replacing from what we can tell). Thankful we did not have an emergency. We enjoyed the firepit both on the deck and outside. The guest house is a wonderful feature that we utilized; especially the game. Overall we had a Nice Stay!

Best Property Ever

I loved this rental. I didn’t even use half the stuff so I am planning on going back. It was just me and my three dogs (I got permission from the management) at the cabin for five days. It was amazing. There is plenty of room for people, the kitchen was nicely stocked, the places for the dogs were great, and I felt very comfortable working and relaxing there. Oh! And the creek on the property is a must have for dogs who love water. Bring dog towels. lol. As I said, I am planning on going back but just from my fb posts I have had three people ask for the details on this cabin. And I almost forgot to add, my dogs got out at one point, and all the neighbors came out to help me look for them. Everyone around was so nice! I got all the dogs back. They just went on a little adventure. The location is also great. It’s like 20 minutes from everywhere. I ate at three great restaurants while there, picked up some things I forgot at Walmart, went to the Mercier Orchard, and went horseback riding. Book this cabin. You won’t regret it.

Nice location. But not so dog friendly.

The overall cabin cleanliness was fair other than the excessive white dog hair from previous guests. The dog outdoor areas where not maintained properly and as pictured. The driveway was over grown with weeds. There was a lot of grass overgrowth atleast knee high and it attracted snakes in the dog areas. The path going to the Creek was also very overgrown as well. We took or dog home the next day considering there were no safe areas outside as described for pets to play and do there buisness. When we originally arrived the guest house was locked. And we had to wait on maintenance to come unlock it to gain access for serveral hours. We also mentioned the grass being so tall. We were told that a company would come out and cut it but they never did. Once we completed our trip and arrived home. We started getting calls from southern cabin rentals about a pet deposit to which we thought was already paid during booking. Considering everything, it was an ok destination, but not an ideal experience with all of the inconveniences that we were not expected.
