Amazing Family Stay!

We loved everything about this property! It's close to downtown and easy to get to, but still feels secluded and private. The house was clean and had so many fun features, and was stocked with everything we needed. The owners were super nice and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We hope to have a chance to stay here again, and would 100% recommend it to others!

Greatest Blue Ridge stay

Our overall stay was absolutely fantastic. This place had EVERYTHING you wanted in a modern cabin in the woods with a creek next to it. We loved sitting on the screened in porch and listening to nature at its finest.We will recommend this cabin to everyone we know. I hope we can come back again!

Great Stay for 3 families

This place was perfect for our group 3 families! There were enough places for everyone to sleep and we did not feel like we were tripping over each other. When we were not out sightseeing, we were all able to relax with lots of options for activities - relaxing on the porch, watching a movie or show, sitting around the campfire, hot tub, games and more. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone with a similar group size!

Nice, but issues with cleaning crew at check-in

Mostly, it was a nice stay. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was as described. The management company was mostly responsive when we had issues. The house is nice and in a great location. And, the creek at the back of the property provided lots of entertainment for our kids. The mattress in the primary bedroom is quite uncomfortable- there are depressions in the mattress that kept pushing us to the middle of it. It felt like sleeping on the edge of a small hill. It’s time for that mattress to be replaced. The main problem keeping this place from getting a 5 star review, however, was the cleaning crew who was still there, smoking on site when we arrived after the check-in time. They folded damp towels and placed them on beds as of they had been fully cleaned and dried. A couple of the towels smelled so terribly of cigarette smoke that we had to wash them before using them, they left the dishwasher full of dishes, and the door to the basement level was locked with a code that wasn’t provided to us, so we couldn’t access appropriately half of the house we rented including the laundry room until the property management company provided the code the morning after our arrival. Also, despite having communicated with the management company about not having a gas key for an indoor fire place, a representative showed up unannounced, confused thinking we needed help with the hot tub. If they get a new mattress and cleaning crew, the place would be great.

The house was absolutely spectacular! The location was perfect for what we wanted—secluded with no nearby traffic and truly off the beaten path.I was so grateful for the fully stocked pantry and kitchen; it made hosting my high school classmates incredibly easy and even turned our son’s first birthday celebration into a breeze!The hot tub was placed in the ideal spot, and the views of the running creek were breathtaking. We couldn’t have asked for a more serene and peaceful cabin getaway. Highly recommend!
