Mountain Getaway

The cabin was exactly like the picture. It's super cozy and relaxing, and the amenities make living relaxed and easy. One small note: You are about 30 minutes from town, gas stations, or grocery stores, so plan accordingly. For my family, this was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

BEAUTIFUL, COZY AND COMFORTABLE

This house was spacious, beautiful and had everyhing we needed. Smelled great when we entered (which doesn't always happen). Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the fire pit outside and the wood provided and smores, thank you. Beds were comfortable with cozy blankets, bathrooms were spacious and had body wash, shampoo and conditioner (which was nice). House could have used a little extra cleaning (dusty and dog hair on furniture) but was still okay and clean. Great hot tub. Met neighbor, Mike and his dog, very nice. Loved carport for extra space and grilling out. Lots of parking. Host answered any questions we had immediately. Just a nice relaxing visit. Thank you.

Beautiful cabin

Loved the layout of the one level cabin. Really appreciated that there were no stairs to negotiate unless you wanted to visit the outside fire pit. Mattresses were very comfortable and bedding was divine. The cabin was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Amazing views from hot tub, fire pit and every window. We were able to negotiate the roads and driveway somewhat easily in our 2WD Nissan Rogue. It was a great getaway for our family of four adults. When I had a problem with the lock code the owners were quick to answer and stayed on the phone with me until I was able to open the lock. Total user error on my part. :)If you have mobility issues like two people in our party, just know that the primary bed is very high and the couches are very low. A small step stool was provided to help with entry to the bed. Primary bath is shower tub combo only with no handheld shower head or grab bars.

Property is great with the acreage and plenty of room for the dog to roam. The house was nice and cool in the summer. The only complaint was the Wi-Fi was PAINFULLY slow. I was planning on working a bit from the cabin and could not do so efficiently. If you aren’t planning on working then it isn’t a big deal.
