Incredibly cozy clean cabin, with a fabulous view. Everything needed was included. Check in and out was a breeze. No issues at all. Would recommend and would absolutly stay again!

Relaxing getaway with breaktaking view

We loved this cabin for our family of three and our dog. The view was so good, we barely left except to hike. The hot tub and the screened in porch were the best features. The beds were also comfortable, and the place was immaculate. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Rocky Top Heaven

My husband our German Shepard and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rocky Top. The house was the perfect size for us and the view was absolutely beautiful. The house is not to far from downtown Blue Ridge which has plenty of shopping and places to eat.

Great View and Quiet Location

The view is amazing. The screened-in porch is comfortable and a great place to hang out. The kitchen has all necessary untensils and a Keurig coffee maker. Wonderful living room with tv and movie options. Comfortable master bedroom. Would definitely rent this cabin again.

Perfect quarantine weekend!

The house was easy to find and access. The property in very good condition, clean and appropriately stocked with linens, utensils, etc. Ground floor master is large and airy. The open living area was comfortably furnished. The screened in porch with an amazing view was the perfect place for our meals. The hot tub was an added bonus; though, it needs a little TLC.

Breathtaking view

The view was absolutely amazing! Cabin was perfect for our family of 4 plus our 2 pups. It was spacious, beautiful with a lot of light and tons of windows to enjoy the view. We spent a majority of our stay out on the screened balcony —- which was huge with plenty of comfortable seating. The cabin is equipped with everything you need to cook/grill. But a warning if you have an active and very bold toddler like we do, bring a baby gate due to stairs/loft area and exercise caution when outside since the cabin is located on a pretty steep drop off. Also, the hot tub level is not screened in and the stairs to access it are also steep so watch those tiny ones! Regardless , overall it was memorable , special vacation and probably one of our best family trips!

Fees, fees, and more fees

I have no complaints about the cabin, it was great. The rental rate vs the effective rate was a head scratcher. After applying the administration fee, cleaning fee, service fee, tax1, and tax2, that produced an effective rental rate that was 167.3% higher than the listed rental rate. It just seems that VRBO misleads with rental rate.

Gorgeous Views

To start this off, the cabin and the view is well worth the price. That being said, I wish I’d read a little more about the service fees and the fact that this is rented through a company rather than an individual host. The price jumped up quite a bit when I went to check out and after my reservation was confirmed I received a few emails from the third party company with some additional steps needed to reserve the cabin. Not really a big deal, just wasn’t expecting it. The company this is rented through is really great, they are thorough, gave all kinds of instructions, and thought of just about every amenity. The view from decks is truly spectacular, and being able to use the hot tub, rocking chairs, or picnic tables while looking at them makes this place well worth the price. And the downtown area of Blue Ridge is only a short 20 minute drive for great food and shops. I really can’t wait to stay here again! My only suggestion would be to consider providing little bottles of cooking essentials like olive oil, seasoning, etc. I’m used to staying in places that have the basics so I didn’t think to bring any.

Mountain paradise

I legitimately want to move to this area now. Beautiful views, friendly people, lots of epic local activities. Rocky Top Cabin was nestled gently on the mountainside with everything you need to have an awesome time. Kitchen had all the tools you'll need to prepare a meal, lots of good movies to watch, hot tub with a perfect view. Spacious and clean, the cabin also felt cozy and warm despite it being chilly outside. Checkout instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Definitely want to come back again so day!

Gorgeous Log Cabin

The cabin was dusty, shower curtain had mold, dishes dirty, carpet smelled of pee

The view was about the only thing good about the cabin. The rug had dog urine, shower curtain had mold, screened porch had cob webs everywhere and holes in the screen so lots of bugs and couldn’t enjoy outside. I found a white comforter in the closet with urine stains… the outlets in the master did not work. Overall… paid too much for the stay. Property management came out and took the rug away and replaced the shower curtain but this was the nastiest cabin I’ve ever rented.

Gorgeous Cabin.

I stayed here March 13th-15th, and it was marvelous. Both my boyfriend and I had a unique experience; it was our first time traveling together, and my first time in Blue Ridge. I would 100% stay at this property again. The view was breathtaking, and quiet. Perfect to get away from reality and find the spark in your life.
