We loved our stay. The cabin is spacious but still has a cozy cabin interior. We especially enjoyed the ping pong and darts and relaxing in the hot tub.

Great Weekend Getaway!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Bearfoot Bend. The location is super convenient to downtown and the marina. There are a couple dining options less than a mile away, which was great. Very private setting with a nice open field for the kids and dog to play in. Would definitely stay again!

GREAT CABIN!

Very peaceful property! Beds are very comfortable and everything you need to have a great stay. Loved the downstairs game room and fire pit outside with lights. We were greeted with 2 turkeys upon arrival that stayed a while and also saw an otter. The Iron Bridge cafe is less than a mile and has great food and friendly service. Cant wait to stay here again!!!

Nice cabin in the woods

Comfortable and well kept property, beautiful forest enviroment. The only issue was the strong sulphur smelling water in the kitchen zinc and bathrooms. No dishwater available. Good internet available. Nice jacuzzi which was already turned on for our arrival. In general an excellent cabin if you dont mind the stinky sulphur smell.

Christmas Vacay

Upon arrival we received the code to be able to enter the property but came to found out the cleaners had not arrived so instead of being able to get in at 3-4 we had to wait until 6, with a complete loaded down car 4 kids and a dog.

My husband and I enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys each morning and evening. There are several downsides to this property. First one being I don't recommend anyone that's a light sleeper to sleep in the main level bedroom without ear plugs or taking sleeping medication. The insulation/sound proofing in this cabin is non-existant between the floors of each level and you can hear everything... especially the loud banging noise coming from the bottom level that occured every 20 seconds and never ceased to exist. Also, the hot tub has not been properly cleaned in quite some time and the jets, walls, and filter were caked in yellow algae/skum.

Christmas Getaway

The aesthetic of this cabin is warm and cozy and in a beautiful remote location. The kitchen is fully stocked and pretty much anything you'd need to cook or bake. Love the porch swing and the outdoor area which expands the square footage of the place. That being said, there are a few challenges with this property. There are micro climates within the cabin that are extreme. When it's finally warm on the main level, the upstairs is unbearably hot even when the windows were opened. The daybed upstairs could not be used due to the heat level. The floors between all levels are inexpensively made and you can hear every word spoken by anyone between floors. Go into the closet upstairs and you can even see through the floor to the downstairs bedroom. There is no privacy and you can only go to sleep when EVERYONE goes to sleep due to the noise level. Getaways and mini vacations are a time to rest and often catch up on sleep. The mattresses need upgrading and the main floor bedroom has a cut out piece of foam on top that is covered only by a sheet making it less than sanitary. The upstairs bedroom has a pad as well that moves around and has to be adjusted along with a slope in the mattress pushing everyone into the middle. We all left pretty sleep deprived. A few adjustments would elevate the experience of this property.

Outraged!

This was the worst trip ever! This was supposed to have been a relaxing and fun time for my birthday with my children and young grandsons who are only 18 months. This was nothing as expected and vacasa customer service is horrible.When we arrived to the home the home itself was beautiful however shortly after arriving we realized that the water was not getting warm it was cold so we called vacasa to report the issue. It was extremely difficult getting someone on the phone the entire evening so my family so to improvise I had to use bottled water to heat up on the stove so we could at least have some hot water. The very next morning we woke up to NO WATER! I called vacasa immediately and reported this and was promised to be moved to another property. During this time my family and I went out to try to at least enjoy some of our vacation despite the water issues. It took vacasa about 6 hours to locate us another property once I received the new location details we were in route and I was called and advised that the location was not ready. At that point they sent us to another property in which once we got their the code for the keypad was not working. The phone service was horrible in the mountains so we had to repeatedly keep driving down the street to call the office to get help with entering the home. We did this for over 2 hours and still was unsuccessful in entering the home. So finally vacasa found us another home which was 2times smaller than what we initially requested but at this point we all were physically and mentally exhausted from the running around and chaos with the door so we proceeded to this home. I can go on and on but I’ll keep my complaint for the bba that I intend on filing as soon as I check out of this cabin. Vacasa experience has been nothing far from a nightmare and no one has even called to check on me or my family.

Thanksgiving Road trip

Our first time traveling with our two year old lab. Lots of hikes nearby for the kids. Easy trip into the downtown too. Convenient little general store right down the road. Our dog and kids absolutely loved the yard and exploring the outside space. Saw lots of deer!

Great place!

Family, dogs and I had a great time. We really enjoyed the ping pong and dart board. The dogs loved the screen porch. If you have never had well water before the smell can be off putting however it did not diminish our stay. We came prepared with ice and bottle water. We would definitely stay again!
