Lovely place to stay

Huron Time was a cozy, beautiful place to stay. Well outfitted kitchen. King bed mattress was very comfortable. We (two couples) really made use of dining room table…….eating, computer work, playing games and doing jigsaw puzzles.. Jennifer was very prompt to help when needed..

Our stay at HuronTime

A lovely, bright, clean & comfortable, open concept space to share with our family, & two dogs. The beach access across the road was handy for walking them both and for days enjoying Lake Huron. We appreciated being able to bring the four leggers with us! HuronTime had all the amenities we required and was a nice quiet break from regular life. Communication & booking with CottageStays was excellent! We would stay again & recommend. Many thanks!

Another wonderful, relaxing stay at Beautiful Huron Time.

This was our second time vacationing at Huron Time and we can't recommend this beautiful property enough. It is extremely well stocked to cover all your needs, peaceful and quiet with a wonderful firepit to roast marshmallows and star gaze. The cottage is very cosy and decorated beautifully and us a quick drive or walk to downtown Bayfield and marina/beach. Huron Time

My husband, 21 year old daughter and our dog had a lovely stay at Huron Time. Our only issue was operating the shower and getting the bath drain to open otherwise we had a very lovely stay! Property is modern, very clean and very close to the beach and town. Highly recommend! :)

Beautiful home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Huron Time….gorgeously decorated and the kitchen had everything you would need. Jennifer was a joy to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed. The coffee and dog cookies she left for us (and our pet) was a very nice touch. Would highly recommend this cozy “cottage” to anyone. We will definitely be back. Thanks Jennifer and Shauna!

The perfect R&R from the city

My husband and I rented Huron Time the week of Aug 18-25. The property exceeded our expectations and was the perfect location for us and our kids (4 & 2). We were a close walk to a number of beach entrances and really enjoyed the large backyard with the fire pit. Everything was clean when we arrived and the check-in process was quick and easy (just what we needed with kids in tow). They’ve obviously updated some aspects that differed from the original description (in the best ways)… we were especially impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was. We would not hesitate to rent this amazing home again.

Relaxing vacation at Huron Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Huron Time. The home was very modern, homey, comfortable and beautiful. The home was equipped with a variety of kitchen equipment that was very useful. There were lots of quiet places to sit and relax including outside. We loved and used the fire pit several nights there. One suggestion that I would make would be to have pokers and smore sticks available for guests as we had to improvise. Attention to detail was evident as check-in was very smooth. Local coffee, chocolates and soaps were added which was a nice touch. The location is great as it is close to town and the beach. I fell in love with Bayfield and the area. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home for the week.

Relaxing retreat in Bayfield

My family has been coming to Bayfield every summer for the last 18 years. This was our first stay with Cottage Stays and Huron Time and it was fabulous. The cottage was decorated beautifully, was very clean and the layout was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials for a great meal. The bedrooms were all a great size, and I have to say I have never slept so well at a cottage.. We enjoyed the backyard space and the front porch. The proximity to the beach was good, It was amazing to finally find a cottage that was pet friendly! The Cottage Stays team especially Jennifer and Shauna were a joy to work with. From the moment of booking to the final details before we got there and even through checkout, it was all well organized and efficient! At check in they were so thoughtful and left us some welcome treats! This won't be my last booking with them. Thank you again for a wonderful experience! Lots of great memories were made.

Another memorable week

We loved our stay at this lovely cottage - our second year in a row! We have been vacationing in Bayfield for almost 20 years with our kids and each year we continue to love the time we spend in the area. The cottage feels like home, and in particular this year we spent a lot of time by the fire and star gazing. Many memories were made. Thank you!

The experience was just what we wanted. The beach was great although it was a little rocky. It was a perfect family time and the cottage was perfect. Decorating was excellent and the mattresses were very comfortable. Loved it

Beautiful Bayfield

Thank you to Jennifer and team for our wonderful stay at Huron Time. From the moment we entered with the calm music playing I knew it was our vibe. We were greeted with lovely treats and a nice warm welcome left for us. Great touch. The cottage was quiet and clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with our two kids and small dog. It was the perfect size. We loved exploring the town and going on walks. We enjoyed cozy movie time and board games in the living room. Everyone had a comfortable place to stay. We were sooo overjoyed our dog who is 9 years old could come. I think he had the best time out of everyone! Thank you for all the helpful information that made packing up for the fam easy! Relaxing time at Huron Time

If you enjoy spending time in the village of Bayfield this is the cottage for you. It is comfortable and professionally decorated with everything you need to enjoy your stay with all the comforts of home and maybe more. it is a two minute walk to the water and i made many trips with my water loving labs. it is quiet and close to everything you need. Loved it!

Beautifully renovated

We had a great week. The cottage was beautifully renovated and decorated and looks exactly as shown. The kitchen is very well stocked with all of the dishes and appliances you could ever need. Beach access is about a 10 minute walk (unless you want to climb a hill). Bayfield is wonderful as always and it's only about 20 minutes to walk into Main street. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely to explore. The hosts were attentive and provided all the info we needed. We would book this again.

Great cottage !!

Cottage was very cozy and nice decor , comfy couch !!! It was awesome to have such a nice size lawn for our dog Bailey . Loved that cottage had doggy bowls 💕Loved the outdoor fire pit with chairs . Loved that she had cleaning supplies ect to help keep the cottage clean .. Only down side was the beach , how you had to get to it !! Lol that hill made it hard to bring all your beach stuff , dog and 3 kids . We did love the sunsets in the evening. Great place !!

One Rainy Weekend

Although the weather did not permit us to explore the lake proximity or even much of Bayfield or Goderich, we three ladies over 60, and our wee four legged lady had plenty of opportunities to enjoy the well appointed kitchen, the three luxurious bedrooms and the beautiful fireplace. The thoughtful extras - toiletries, local coffee - were much appreciated. Maggie really loved the homebaked dog biscuits! We will have to return when the weather warms up to really enjoy all that the property has to offer, but even still, it was a lovely and relaxing weekend.

Bayfield getaway

There was an abundant and unacceptable amount of dog hair everywhere in the living room, on the floors, on the furniture that was NOT cleaned up from the prior renter; this was brought to the attention of the property manager who said 'UGHHH" and proceeded to do nothing about the problem. Dogs are obviously more important than human beings. Would you complain about a human hair in your salami sandwich? Or is that considered just normal behavior these days?! There was a hefty cleaning fee that was not reimbursed to me and my concern went unnoticed. Our furry friends are very much loved and appreciated, however this animal WAS NOT MY PERSONAL FURRY FRIEND, so one should be expected to tolerate the leftover hair from previous tenants. Let us remember that humans do have allergies to dog dander and asthma exacerbation to animal dander. A clean rental should be of utmost importance to VRBO!

Fabulous beach town getaway

Amazing place to stay and enjoy the beaches and the town of Bayfield. The house was clean and updated with a well equipped kitchen, cozy beds, gorgeous decor and fantastic outdoor spaces. It was the perfect place to be with the family.
