It is at the absolute end of the island close to walking trails, the chain link (of Maui) the other end of the link is on Stewart Island in Lee Bay. Room was very clean, amenities provided were excellent and you also were provided with a full breakfast. I would without hesitation recommend.
The room and entire hotel was spotless, the room had lots of amenities and the owner, Andy, was super helpful and went above and beyond what we expected. He even drove us to and from the ferry to go to Stewart island. Would highly recommend this hotel!
Andy, the owner, takes great pride about his place. Its location in Bluff has a beautiful view. Room and amenities are very good. Breakfast was included. It was a continental breakfast with cold cereal and simple yet tasty egg hot egg plate choices. Beautiful background soothing music with great view of the ocean. Right next to walking track along the bluff. Next door restaurant has great seafood choices with also great views of the open ocean. Would definitely recommend it also.
The Hotel is clean and tidy, however a little tired, it is located next to the lands end sign and next to a restaurant which has good food and great service
The description didn't match the actality. Not a boutique hotel, no bar, or restaurant both in another establishment next door. Facilities basic and very tired. Breakfast was ok. Not sure what the reviewers who said it was great had, but certainly not what we got. However, the views are stunning and with some work could be a very attractive tourist stop over.
It’s a quiet & quirky hotel with the best sea and Bluff sign views. Received a fabulous welcome and enjoyed our stay which included breakfast. The Oyster Cove Restaurant next door provided a yummy dinner too.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Our shower did not work, it backed up into bathroom. The room itself was not the greatest, the staff were okay and the breakfast was better than expected, I would not stay again.
A great little hotel with fabulous views of the end-of-the-island sea. Good restaurant next door, and a great coastal walk nearby. Worth stopping by on your tour of the South Island.
Wonderful location. Very private with breathtaking views.
The hostess has a wonderful eye for detail. All the accessories in the bedroom and bathroom made it feel special cozy and warm. The teas were divine. Breakfast was delicious.
So nice to have a true boutique hotel experience with a lovely personal touch.
We came to this hotel because it was one of the farthest points in the south. We were hoping to see the lights, but no such luck. It was still a quaint hotel with an amazing view. The breakfast included was good as well. If travel take you to Bluff, this is the must stay hotel.
The woman running the place, Sami, was AMAZING. I loved the place, but she took it to another level. Very friendly and personable. Would definitely go back there.
Lovely young hosts, nothing was to much trouble, helped us out when our luggage was lost at Airport, some great walks around the area, sea views and lovely Restaurant with Sea views next door, perfect for a couple of days stay especially if heading over to Stewart Island.
Great location and wonderful views. Very friendly owner who goes above and beyond to help. Very good breakfast. Excellent base for visiting Stewart Island.
Andy, not sure if the owner or manager of both but was a man of true hospitality. The place was very nice and right on the water, great views. Next door a restaurant where we had a nice dinner overlooking the bay. Easy to find and park. He helped us out with a change of travel plans and was very accommodating.
