“This was an amazing property. We didn’t know when we booked it that we were visiting during the 3 months of the year when the “storms” come often and stir up the seaweed. Unfortunately with the dirty ocean water came a foul smell - none of which was the hotels fault. We still had an incredible time at the pool, playing pickleball and tennis and exploring the island and other public access beaches on the south side of the island. “Rented a 2 bedroom 1 bath for a week and had no regrets. Lisa, the host, was always responsive to my texts and was very accommodating when we requested to check in early. Great location, super clean, quiet, and well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful pool. Easy check out process. 10 mins from airport. “We’ve been to grand cayman six times over the past 30 years. The Villas at the Galleon oceanfront condo was easily the best place we’ve stayed. It’s modern, clean and well-appointed. “Reef Romance was the perfect house! There are 5 master bedrooms, a very large gathering room, a great kitchen, and a kitchen table that sits 8-10 people! “This was one of our best vacations yet. I have been gifting my family with a surprise family vacation for christmas for 10 years instead of stuff.The house was great. It was well stocked, we needed nothing. Location? Perfect. The kids loved the pool and the kayaks and the fire pit where we did the s'mores that were in a basket for us upon arrival. “If you want that once in a lifetime family/friends vacation book this place. You won't be disappointed! It is not by all of the downtown action if you want that. We did rent a vehicle. The house is about 50 mins away.
