“Well the Hotel was closed. I had to look it up on the website, find a phone number and call the owner. She could tell me the hotel was closed for winter but she had an other hotel in town called Hotel Platani Bolsena. We chose the first hotel to sit on the balcony with a drink overlooking the lake in the sunset. The sun went down and we ended up in ordinary rooms at a doll hotel with veer bad breakfast. The cheapest juice you can get etc. did they compensate in any way? They offered a bottle of……

“I love to stay in this house. It is located at the hill top surrounded by trees and rural areas. I like they have a restaurant so i took half board at the house. I enjoyed the tranquil environment and the food. I must come back again. Thank you all the staff. ”

“We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. “It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience.……
