“The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Bolton town centre in a quiet location next to a church. The rooms are next to the pub and restaurant, which can be accessed by an entrance out back. If you prefer to come and go without going through the pub, you are given a key to a side entrance. My room was clean and spacious and the bed large and comfy. The bathroom was modern and clean. The restaurant has a good menu. I didn’t have time for breakfast, but it looked and smelled very……

“Met host on arrival. Was really nice and helpful. Lovely house and having the hottub was amazing. Good area with links to Manchester on public transport. Was here for business but house made it so much more comfortable than living in a hotel. ”

“Fantastic stay with Barry, Barry was very helpful, friendly, accommodating and showed us everything we needed. The annexe was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable, also a great range of breakfast options which we were not expected so a lovely bonus to the stay. The property is not far from the train station and is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thank you so much To Barry and his family for being so welcoming, we really enjoyed……

“Very short stay (one night) and very last minute! However, they accommodated and were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful - very spacious and a gorgeous bathroom - the best power shower i've ever used!! Also - the bed was SO COMFY. Thank you. ”

“Pitch view room was very impressive and worth the visit. Nicely presented hotel, friendly staff and good selection of drink at the bar. Rooms were nice and clean with good temperature control. Restaurant food was good, we only had the pizzas but they were nice. Breakfast was not great. Sausages seemed stale and ove”
