"The cabin was immaculately clean. We really loved the decor and felt especially safe with the "Duke" keeping watch over us! Enjoyed our mornings on the deck. The view was amazing and it was so peaceful and relaxing. It just made our coffee taste better! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything anyone could need. We did have trouble with the check-in, as the printed directions we received were not correct. We spent over an hour driving around trying to figure out what we were doing wrong. We finally called and got hold of the maintenance man and he got us where we needed to be. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. The only thing that I didn't like was the issue with the trash. There was not a dumpster on the property and so we had to locate one down the road to empty our trash. It was not as easy as is sounded. Would we stay there again absolutely!"

"Property needs to be updated, replace all old furniture and carpets, broken clock on wall by main entrance broken light covers and some missing, heater in basement don’t work, shower heads in main master bathroom need to be replaced, and need a bigger grill. Property wise very spacious and your neighbors are distant."

"We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful cabin that sits on a beautiful piece of property. The location of the cabin is perfect if you are visiting Ruidoso or Alamogordo. We would stay at this cabin again."

"The cabin was very cozy and relaxing. It had all the ammenities you will need. The communication and friendliness of the host was exceptional! It was everything I needed for a little geataway. Thank you so much for making my birthday weekend great! Will definately stay again!"

"The location was good and living room was nice for game nights. Host was quick with responses and good communication. Stove and microwave were new and great but there was a lot of down sides to the rest of our stay. The hot tub was extremely dirty as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We had to purchase our own nets to clean it ourselves and the chlorine was crystallized at the bottom. There was some water damage and mold on the roof. 2 out of 6 smoke detectors worked. There wasn’t any baking sheets. Each trash can only had one trash bag. There multiple chairs that were broken. There was food on the rug and weird smell when we walked in. The floors in the rooms are creaky. Sheets needed to be cleaned. Dishes had food residue before we used them. Needs more towels and toilet paper. Floors were dirty and there was a lot of dust especially on the fans. I’m not one to give bad reviews but friends and I weren’t satisfied. The house just needs some extra attention. "

"One of my favorite places we've ever stayed. Pristine and chic decor with perfect NM vibes. We enjoyed exploring the vast grounds and cozying up next to the fireplace. Great for families, playground on site, incredible views. Chester, the property dog, greeted us and hung close by. Only challenge was no dishwasher. But we would come back here in a heartbeat. "
