“My vacation was very pleasant. The cottage was exceptionally clean and very nicely decorated. It was well equipped with appliances, everything you might need for a short or long term stay. Although not on the water, there was a very nice beach a 5 min walk down the cottage road. Very enjoyable!”

“Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. ”

“The lodge is well equipped, all we needed to bring with us was food. It has a very nice view of the lake and a wide private beach - great for family with kids or elders. What is also good for kids and elders is the shallow water: 50 meters from shore it still won't go above the waist. ”

“This was the best-stocked cottage I have ever rented. The kitchen has everything you need including spices and condiments. The lake is beautiful and perfect for canoeing. The swimming access is a very long shallow sandy entry. The hot tub is great and includes screens to keep bugs out. Neighbours are fairly close when you’re at the lakeside but the yard and hot tub are completely private. Host is lovely and responsive. “Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter.
