"Everything was amazing and was what we were looking for for our sons birthday weekend. My only complaint is how thin the walls were in the villas. We could hear everything next door"

"The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The only problem that I had was the spa. It was not as clean or luxurious as a highly rated spa should be. The showers and locker rooms were very old and not sparkly clean. There were no staff to help you unless you actively searched for help. Overall the staff at the front desk, the restaurant and the spa were Not friendly and helpful."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Santa Cruz

"Room and refrigerator were clean. Staff both reception and housekeeping were very accommodating. The breakfast buffet area always seemed a little cramped. Waffles were a hit but had to stand in line the first morning a long time as only two waffle makers. Almost always a line to make waffles. I guess the line depends on how many guests show up at the same time. Muffins were the same everyday, it would be nice to have options. Always plenty of bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausages. No hot chocolate packets :( but other option coffee, tea, milk, juices. There was a $25 parking fee per night and I didn’t remember that being mentioned prior to our stay. Around that area there were no other options for overnight parking so no choice. Good to know the parking area is secured. Easy walk to the beach wharf, boardwalk and downtown. Visited the Museum, lots of great I for about the bay. Fun for all ages. I stay definitely again."

"This renovated property is across the street from the beach and a block from the Santa Cruz pier. It is blocks from the train that takes you to the redwoods. It couldn’t be any better of a location. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for a visit."
