It is a tiny little mountain town that has become my daughter's second home. Everyone is so lovely. The local places on King Street are treasures. There are enough big stores to get pretty much anything you need. Although a Target would be nice.

Beech Mountain resort was fun for sledding and skiing. The drive up the mountain was exciting too. The town has plenty of choices for any shopping or dining needs and there are plenty of activities around. We will be back.

Late October in Boone is the perfect time to visit. The air is crisp and the fall colors are vibrant. The theme of this hotel fits very well with my opinion of Boone. Very relaxing. This place is good for the soul.

Boone was larger and much busier than I expected. I ended up spending a lot of time in the Blowing Rock area and would stay there if I visit the area again. Really nice little mountain town.

Great medium-sized town. It has aspects of both a university town and a resort. Good place for families.

"Excellent cabin! Very clean and well stocked. There were plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. Michael clearly pays attention to the details and was very helpful. The cabin is in a great, central location. We enjoyed time in Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock with easy drives."
"At the time we were there the elevator was out of commission but they made sure we were on the first floor due to my asthma. Very nice staff. Breakfast was great."
Highland Hills Motel and Cabins – A Master Hosts Resort

"When we arrived, the room we were initially given had a few things that still needed to be cleaned so we called the front desk to make them aware and see if we could just get someone to clean it. The front desk promptly called back and offered us an upgrade instead. Not only did they come and look at it themselves, but they showed us to the cabin we'd be in and were extremely kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a stellar experience! We will definitely be back! "
