Perfect getaway for family memories

Perfect location and space for our family reunion for Christmas! This cabin was cozy but had plenty of space for our growing family. We had all we needed and the cabin was tastefully decorated for Christmas. We will definitely be back again next year!

Great Getaway

Cute, comfortable and clean house with beautiful views. Check in and out was very simple. Easier to get to than other places we've stayed in the mountains, not as many curvy inclines, which I'm not used to navigating.

Starry nights are the best!

We had a lovely family vacation here and enjoyed the views, the hot tub, fire pit, and nearby amenities. Great layout for our group and we made some wonderful memories here. Hope to return again!

A wonderful stay

The property was very well kept sand the view was beautiful. A very comfy stay, only thing is that the washing machine had a slight burning smell when used but no big deal.

Perfect Cabin for Labor Day

We had three generations stay and we all immensely enjoyed ourselves. We all said the cabin is even more beautiful than the pictures show online. We enjoyed the fire pit two of the three nights! Very convenient to Boone and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Starry Nights Girls Weekend

Starry Nights was the perfect place to get away with girlfriends! We enjoyed hanging out on the large deck and use of the hot tub! It’s a quick drive into Boone and easy to get to other nearby areas of interest. Highly recommend!

Lovely retreat while still close to everything

This is a lovely cabin with a great view. It has plenty of space but still feels quaint. It has a remote feel while being close to all the things you want to do. We were there for my son’s college graduation. Wonderful hosts. Very responsive and friendly

Wonderfully Peaceful

The house very comfortable, exactly as listed. The host was very responsive before and during our stay. We were greeted with a birthday card for our son, bubbles for him, and champagne for the adults. I highly recommend this listing to anyone interested! There are lots of things to do for people of all interests around town. The 7 person hot tub was highlight for our family. The home had lots of games, puzzles, and comforts of home.

Girl's trip

Great house and location for our annual girl's trip to the mountains! Great and easy communication with the owner. Minor inconvenience of not having anywhere to take trash on a Sunday checkout but was able to talk to the owner about that with fast communication. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place. Simple, clean, cozy, great views, hot tub and fire pit.

We loved our stay over Christmas week. It was even decorated for Christmas which really was a nice touch. The owner was great to communicate with as needed and the whole process was simple. It was perfect for our family of 4. We really enjoyed playing games in the main living area, going in the hot-tub and the fire pit area was amazing. Its just outside of town which was perfect for our daily excursions. The loft area was great for chilling at the end of the day. The kids loved having the two bedrooms on the lowest floor. Bathrooms are up to date and clean and very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed. Overall amazing place. Definitely coming back.

Fabulous home for multi generational family get away

Beautiful home with wonderful amenities for all ages in a beautiful mountain setting. Spectacular views with wildlife galore. Love the hot tub and fire pit - perfect for s’mores! Well stocked kitchen with plenty of living space, inside and out. This home is perfect for traveling with grandparents - master on main while the lower level has 2 more bedrooms/bathrooms, another living room and a clean/convenient laundry room. Only minutes away from hiking trails, Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain.

Wonderful stay !! Great location in wonderful area near town but yet remote!! Host was amazing leaving small gift for my husbands birthday. And very prompt on answering questions !! View was amazing !! Only one summation would maybe be a propane fire pit due to wind and range of fire pit didn’t want to have a fire b/c of no hose being near area but this is just a suggestion!! Highly recommend!!

What’s beautiful location and the house is unbelievable. Great view. Private but you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Nice combination. The drive to downtown Boone is easy. A definite place for all seasons! Hated to leave. Great communication with the host who went out of her way for us.

Perfect home for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving this year at Starry Nights with a party of 6 adults and two kids. It was perfect! When we checked in there was a bottle of Prosecco waiting on us, along with two gardening kits for the kids. The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and convenient to everything. There's a Dollar General nearby in case you forget anything (which we did, of course!) and it's an easy drive to Valle Crucis and Boone. Our kids loved the foosball table and all of the games, and the loft was the perfect area for them to hang out in! Unfortunately it didn't snow when we were there, but I'm glad we had the owners instructions to have 4 WD as it would have been absolutely necessary. We will be back!

Starry Nights. Wonderful!!!

Lovely cottage, well furnished, very clean, lovely mountain views, and very, very comfortable! The host was very accessible and helpful. The best house my wife and I have rented in the mountains for the two of us. The only issue related to check in was that the lock box was difficult to open and should perhaps be replaced. We are definitely coming back in the spring! Charlie

Family Weekend

We went to celebrate my son’s 11th birthday! The home is beautiful, the views are even better! We got to enjoy so much snow and the hills for sledding were perfect! Kathryn had given very good and clear instructions on everything! This is the second time I’ve been to the cabin the first time was with my friend and I loved the view and house so much I had her send me the link! My son said it was one of the best birthday weekends! Even though we didn’t make it to go skiing because beech mountain had no parking, the house and snowy hills made it all worth his stay!!
