“This was a beautiful house and was well stocked with whatever we needed. The weather wasn’t great, so it’s good that there’s so much to do at this house.”

“Lovely house! Right near Old Forge but still very private. Loved the three floors with bedrooms and full bathrooms on all levels. The house was so cozy, clean, furnished beautifully, with all needed kitchen/other items right there. The owner was so nice and easy to text with for whatever was needed. Just a really nice spot to explore that side of the lower Adirondack Park. ”

“This property is a dream. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Right on the river, walking distance to hiking, and complete privacy from neighbors. There's a side yard area where my 4 year old could safely play without worrying he'd run toward the water. Access to the water was easy for us, water low now so we practiced fishing on the rocks. We are looking forward to returning when the water is high so we can go tubing!! I've stayed in a number of places in adk and this one is……

“It is an older property which has been updated with the necessaries, including kitchen and bath. We chose it for the location but mainly, because we were able to bring our two dogs. There were six of us and although the cottage was cozy, we were perhaps a bit cramped. That would not have been an issue but a rainy week forced us inside more than we would have liked. The location is beautiful - very close to First Lake and right off of Hollywood Road. The side road was excellent for dog walking……

“Very cute cabin and very clean. There is no lake view, no lake access and no kayaking from the cabin. Perfect spot for a resting spot if you want to venture around in the Adirondacks. ”

“What an amazing stay! The cabin was great, so clean, comfortable and the most perfect setting. The most relaxing sanctuary ever. Very close to many great spots, we loved Green Lake State Park. This was my Wife's second stay here, the other time was in the Winter. We loved this as a family of 3, with a teenage daughter who also had a great time here too. Can't wait to come back.”

“Nice location right on the lake, and near Old Forge. Cabin is as described in listing. Very pretty view from deck. We enjoyed the kayaks. Near rte 28, convenient but quite a bit of road noise. ”
