Great location good for families

Overall the stay was good. The property manager responded quickly to issues (lock not working, kitchen trash not taken out). The layout is a bit odd as you need to walk through the bathroom to get to one of the bedrooms, but overall we made it work and it was comfortable for all of us (two families) to cohabitate. The yard and location are both stellar!

Lovely property and house!

We really enjoyed our time in this home, it is a home more than just a house. There is plenty of room for everyone, a well appointed kitchen with plenty of kitchen appliances. The room has a lovely breeze coming in from the bay and everything was clean! Even the windows, clean windows are a sign of a clean house. I would stay there again in a minute. We went for the clambake on Cabbage Island and that was a real treat, the shops in Boothbay Harbor are quite fun also.

There were a few things that could have been dusted a little bit better, some cobwebs and spiders in places but nothing crazy.

Great house, great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Harrington House was perfect for our family's vacation to the Boothbay area. The house was very clean, spacious, and inviting with local decor. We had a couple of questions regarding our stay and the Turnkey team was very responsive. We visited several surrounding towns during our stay and decided that Boothbay Harbor was the place to be, with plenty of shops and restaurants. So glad we chose this house! Although the house is not far from town, we did not walk because we had small children with us and the steep incline on the way back made walking too much of a challenge for us. However, it was easy to drive down the hill, find a parking spot, and walk throughout the town from there. As others have noted, the bathrooms are an unusual set up but it worked out fine for our party of six... 4 adults and 2 children. We would definitely return to the Harrington House!

Cute House!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled with another couple and the house more than met our needs. Yes, the bathroom upstairs is a bit quirky (you go through it to get to the master bedroom and it only had a tub, no shower) but we didn't find it to be a problem and were aware of it through other reviews before we rented. The kitchen space is huge and very well equipped. There are two living areas (one we enjoyed for morning coffees and the other for evenings and television) The location was close enough that we could walk down the hill each day to the main area of town. The ocean view wasn't as expansive as we might of wanted but we didn't stay around the house long enough for it to be an issue. We were too busy exploring everything that Boothbay Harbor had to offer!

Great in-town house

Lovely girls weekend!

We loved sitting out on the front patio in the sun and walking to town in the morning to poke around shops. The house was SO CLEAN! And there were so many sweet little touches from the cleaners too. It made us all feel at ease and comfortable knowing how well this home is cared for.

The house is perfectly located close to town and within short driving distance of several parks and preserves. The yard was spacious for the kids to run around and fire pit fun for s'mores making. Beds could have been more comfortable, but overall experience was positive.

Location, location!

Experience was difficult with Turnkey as they cancelled reservations because they didn’t realize owner required 7 nights. I only booked 5 initially but got everything straighten out when I booked 7 nights

Convenient Location

Nice unit, clean with easy access to downtown. We had 2 small appliance issues that were quickly addressed. Bed size in what could be considered "children's" room could have been more clearly described. We enjoyed out rental.

Perfect Cute Home for a Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much. House was a 5 min. short walk to the quaint center of Boothbay Harbor and you could easily reserve a cruise as the ticketing and boats were right in the village. Home was very spacious with two queen beds in one room with very large bathroom and a queen in another room with a third twin bedroom. Lovely backyard with deck and a barbecue which we used one night. The only suggestion I have is perhaps there should be 5 more dinner plates and a few more salad plates so we could the run a full dishwasher load instead of a partial load after using all the dinner plates. Also a few plastic unbreakable cups for children would be good. Nice house and very, very clean and we would happily reserve again. Susan Martin

Cozy house near the bay

We enjoyed our stay in this tastefully decorated New England home near the bay. Everything was clean, tidy, and appealing upon arrival. We used every bed space on the second floor (8 guests plus a baby in a travel crib) and there is only one somewhat dated bathroom upstairs but we made it work. There is a second bath with a shower on the main level. Also, plenty of lovely social space on the main level. Nice close-to-town location.

Girl’s Weekend

We had a wonderful time. The location was great and we could walk into town which was a priority for us. The house was adorable and very functional. With 5 women, 2 bathrooms was great to have and the kitchen was set up well with all the essentials. There was plenty of room and we each got our own bed! I would go back in a minute, loved it!

Delightful and clean, great location

This house was perfect for us and our three boys, age 14-22. Larger than we expected, with lots of character inside. Very clean, and loaded with amenities and supplies. Excellent kitchen for families expecting to cook every day like we did. Walking distance to the harbor. One of the bedrooms can be reached only by going through the master bath; that's one quirk we could've done without. But everything was wonderful, comfortable, and very well kept!
