Would have liked to stay longer, beautiful value!
This was a beautiful stay, nestled in a vineyard 10 minutes outside Bordeaux. The room was lovely and clean with a great view of the pool and vineyards. We opted for the garden view room for a slight upcharge. I did mention to the staff in the morning that the pillows felt pretty flat to us, but I tend to use an extra pillow when hotels have them in the room. The staff was excellent as well, arranging dinner reservations via email at the on site restaurant. The best part for me was the gourmet dinner and great wine tasting. It was a pricey meal but worth it. We were only there a night for a road trip stopover, but this would be a great place to spend a week and explore the area more. Speaking English was not an issue at all, they were very helpful at the hotel and restaurant and many of the staff spoke English or were good sports about me using Google Translate haha!

The property was in a lovely setting. The staff that greeted us were lovely and accommodating throughout the stay - the pool is nice and the on-site restaurant bar serving good local food. The rooms themselves are basic but well maintained and cleaned though the outside of the building looks like it could do with a bit of a spruce and the fence, a lick of paint.

We loved the setting in the vineyard . We upgraded to a terrace room so we could relax on loungers overlooking the vines immediately outside our door. The room itself was quite small but we forgave that because of its situation. The pool setting was amazing too. The restaurant was beautiful (the foliage walls in the toilets are something to be seen!). The food is good if a little pricey. . Breakfast in the hotel was good and offered a view of the vineyard and pool . We wandered through the vineyard and saw the busy life that goes on there. Great place.

Beautiful stop in Bordeaux area
We spent our last night in France here, at the end of a busy week travelling around. It was bliss, and just what we needed to recharge before the long return journey home. The pool was great to cool down and relax in and we also enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the hotel. Perfect for touring local vineyards. Would love to return some day.

I absolutely loved the location and the peace and quiet. The views were fantastic! The food was good however I found the bar facilities strange. Also I did not consider the room to be superior and there was a complete lack of plugs in the bedroom for charging telephones etc.

My fiancé and I spent two full weeks travelling around France - we really enjoyed staying here and the restaurant was phenomenal. We stayed two nights and would have stayed another if it wasn’t booked up :) beautiful property, the pool is lovely, so nice to walk through the vineyards and staff was very nice and accommodating. My fiancé speaks French, myself only English - appreciate they would speak to us both in our preferred language. If we come back to the area we will defiantly be back ! The wine is also fantastic which you can sample at the restaurant - we bought some bottles!

Very relax place within the huge vinyards. Staff are all friendly and kind. Only 1 point I don't like so much was the access to this hotel, since it's far away from Bordeaux city centre about 30min by car and there is no public transportation to get there. I didn't have the car so I have to use taxi, that was little expensive. Additionaly, if there's some places to taste wines that are produced by its vineyards, it would be more excellent. Anyway, I really enjoyed the stay, walking around the vinyards and dinner and breakfast with fantastic view.

I only stayed overnight on a trip through France. The situation of the Hotel, in my opinion, is fabulous. It is surrounded by vineyards and is VERY peaceful, yet only 15 - 20 minutes drive from the bustling city of Bordeaux. Every single member of staff that I met was extremely helpful and very pleasant and polite. There is an onsite restaurant which is absolutely fabulous - the building is fab and the food is even better! I also stayed for breakfast, which again was very good indeed, the emphasis being on quality ingredients. The breakfast room is also very nicely designed and decorated. The hotel room was slightly disappointing, compared to everything else, which was faultless. The bed and linen were excellent quality, but I feel that the bathroom facilities and decor of the room, could have been so much better, given the overall impression of the establishment. Would I stay there again? - Yes!!

Had an amazing stay at this chateau. Room was nice, clean, comfortable but a little small. Breakfast was lovely and the view of the vineyard was a plus. The receptionist was nice just make sure to grab some food if you get hungry at night because access to the stores and or restaurants are limited. They have a restaurant but during our stay they were close (which they let us know in advance). We will definitely come back in the summer.

Many stunning aspects to the hotel e.g. Swimming pool, breakfast room and restaurant. The location is superb. Our room was pleasantly decorated & comfortable but dated. Suggest improving in room tea & coffee stock. No milk or cups in room. Food excellent in restaurant. Staff very welcoming, attentive and helpful throughout. Overall a lovely stay in a great location, will probably stay there again next year.

We had a wonderful stay here. The surrounding scenery can be viewed from the breakfast area and pool, overlooking the grape vines. I was able to go for a run through the vines every morning and my three-year-old loved running around all the grassy areas. The rooms were a bit small but the terrace on the lower level made for an easy extension of the room. The proprietors were very nice and offered help as to which wineries to visit. There is a lot of open space here will work because it offers a easy trips to Saint Emillion too. Wifi was great everywhere too.
