"Four of us enjoyed the Blue Cottage in May 2024. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay including a well-functioning gas grill. The views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens (we think) were spectacular. It should be noted that the driveway is quite steep and can be a little slippery in wet weather, but there are steps in the middle of it to facilitate safe walking. Parking is available on the street as well as in a garage."

"Cottage is cozy for sure. Kitchen and living room on main floor are nicely sized. The queen bedroom also on the main floor is comfortably cozy. The 12 steps up to the 2 twin bedroom [which is definitely cozy] and king bedroom [which is very roomy] are very steep [which was unexpected]. The yard is nicely kept. The deck could definitely use some lawn chairs. We enjoyed our stay while visiting with family for our cousins reunion."

"Great place! Sweet view of the river from the deck. The river itself is pretty lazy and it was easy to use the kayaks. Just a short carry down the bank to the edge. The inside is cute and cozy. The roof in the upstairs sleeping loft is very pitched, so very short at the edges of the bed but tall in the middle. The stairs up are pretty cool but also require some getting used to. "My two daughters and myself stayed a few nights here and we fell in love with this cottage. It’s beautiful and quiet. The owners have definitely made sure you have everything you need. I also need to say that when we flew in from Utah we had to hang out in town for a couple hours before we could check in, Totally no big deal. "This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....
