My wife and I have been wanting for years to stay at the Calf Creek Ranch house. We've been coming to the area for decades--usually stay at the nearby campground or the Boulder Mountain Lodge. But this was special--expensive, but very special--especially during the eclipse!

This place is pure magic. We loved everything about it! The interent was spotty amd we had no cell coverage, but it was perfect for an extraordinary off grid vacation. Great Hiking house
Great property. The Hiking is wonderful right out the door. Very private and the upstairs bedroom is like sleeping in a tree house. You can see the stars from the bed. The weather was perfect so did not use the wood stove. Wish there was some window coverings for the hot sun. Thanks for all the tips on hiking and house facts. Our favorite restaurant was the Burr Grill. Hope to go back in the future.
