「Nicely appointed renovated home. Had two dinners with guests that the proprietors made. Def would suggest enjoying the company and food. We had car trouble, and Marcel offered to take us to Hertz in Saumur. Acted as tour guide, chauffeur, and interpreter for us in Chinon as well as Saumur. Lovely area. 」

「Wow what a find . This place is like staying at a picture postcard and the owners can’t do enough for you . They accommodated our slightly late arrival and cooked us up a French food delight . Best food we have eaten on our whole 3 week trip together with the best b and b we have stayed in . I cannot recommend this place enough and the surrounding medical village is just gorgeous. You can even have a swim in the lake and have a dip in a hot tub . We will definitely be back and have a longer...

But, if you want to experience France and the Loire Valley and stay in a magic historical environment with lovely humble and generous people I would highly recommend this beautiful château!! That said, the overall experience was still wonderful. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing, with a level of quality and service that made us feel truly looked after—almost like royalty. With just a bit more care in the room setup, this would have been a flawless stay.」
