About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Bozeman's Wildside Haven close to Montana State, trails, Museum of the Rockies.

Wildside Haven is your private retreat and home while you visit Bozeman, Montana and Yellowstone country. We are located 3 miles south of downtown with a great view of the Bridger Mountains. The area is quiet and abounds with wildlife; deer, fox, bear, raccoon and many species of birds. This one bedroom apartment is adjacent to our home and has a private entrance and parking spot at your front door under the carport. Sourdough Creek trailhead accessing miles of trails for hiking, biking, and running is but a two minute walk from the apartment. We are usually on site for any assistance you may need.

Inside, you'll find a comfortable great room with vaulted ceiling, including a living area with Smart TV and dining area facing the backyard, and a full kitchen. There is one bedroom with a king bed and a full bath. The bathroom features a shower only and is stocked with fresh towels, hair dryer and other amenities you may need or have forgotten. There is also a large upstair, loft bedroom with a queen bed for an additional charge of $20 per person per night. There is a washer and dryer inside a hall closet for your use, along with an iron and ironing board. Enjoy high-speed wireless internet, a library of Denver's photo books and many others to browse, and board games. Have coffee and watch the sunrise or enjoy an evening beverage from your private porch overlooking the backyard.

Great restaurants are nearby in town, along with world-class fishing, hiking, biking, rafting and skiing in the surrounding area. Having lived here for many years, we are happy to make recommendations for your desired excursions. Yellowstone National Park and Big Sky are both easy day trips, and Bridger Bowl Ski Area is a short 15 mile drive from town.

Lovely, Magical and Practical All in One!
The property is absolutely wonderful with all the amenities we could’ve needed. We stayed here to have access to outdoor activities ahead of us moving our son into MSU. The location was perfect for everything we needed. It’s tucked away and it feels like it’s off the beaten path. The host are absolutely gracious, lovely and responsive to anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if it’s available.

Countryside retreat
Very nice countryside location but only a 10 minute drive into city center. Deer wandered around property. Large yard in back with a small fenced in porch area with chairs & small table. I expect the fence was to keep owners dog from bothering us , but we found his visit endearing. Very pastoral quiet setting in an established woody neighborhood. King bed was really comfortable, towels & linens nice quality. The living room had several very soft throws on couch & even a soft fake animal throw rug. A smart TV but we didn’t use. The kitchen was well provisioned to cook, but couldn’t find any kitchen scissors. No dishwasher but dish & hand soap provided, also paper towels, kitchen towels all there. Lots of dishes& glassware all there. We couldn’t get some of the ceiling lights or fans to come so our only complaint was the rooms were quite dimly lit…a home “how to” book would be appreciated. Overall we had a wonderful stay & would recommend property. The place is attached to owners home across a breezeway but felt fairly private.

Bozeman Bait-and-Switch
Advertised as a two bedroom unit but after the stay, the owner sought additional fees for using the second bedroom. The loft sleeping area is not a legitimate bedroom as it does not have a closet. Unit listing indicates a washer/dryer in unit, but they were not working. Owner failed to disclose this info prior to stay. Listing also indicates the unit has a kitchen island, which is not true. There is only one TV in the unit which is located in the living room. The sofa upholstery is torn, dining room chair legs are loose. Ceiling track lighting has no switching. Light bulbs out in living area and loft sleeping area. Bathroom is tiny with kiddie-sized shower and toilet. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Unit is attached to owners two-car garage and adjacent to owner's house. Parking is very limited and owner is constantly monitoring visitors coming and going.

Quick weekend trip
One of our sons lives in Bozeman and we wanted to spend the weekend with him without imposing. This was the perfect place to stay! The hosts could not have been more kind or gracious. The property was everything it was advertised as. It was very nice. The kindness of the hosts is what made this stay most special. Thank you all.

This is the perfect place to get away from the daily noise in our lives. The property was immaculate! Everything you could possibly need was provided. I loved the 'quiet.' It was lovely seeing birds and deer on the beautifully manicured lawn. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing cabin
My dad and I stayed here for a quick trip, this is near Bozeman center and the absolute perfect location. The owners home is on property and he was very friendly and helpful, he even allowed us to have coffee by his beautiful pond every morning. Close walking trail is near by and we did see deer and wildlife.

Bozeman August 2023
There were three of us that stayed at the house. It was quiet and we enjoyed the views of the backyard. There is a sitting place by the pond in the front of the house, and we did not use it. Although, it looked lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed. And we cook when we are on vacation. The beds were very comfortable, we all slept well. Small note that the only bathroom was in the bedroom on the first floor. It was not an issue, we were all family, but just an FYI. The hosts were incredibly nice, and we would most definitely come back.

Lovely location and unit in Bozeman
This property is really well done. It is located on a beautiful piece of property that is very close to hiking trails and other amenities. In spite of it's convenient location , it is a very tranquil setting. The hosts recommendations for dining were spot on. I will definitely come back next time I am in Bozeman.

Amazing retreat from the hustle and bustle
This guest house is tucked away in a lovely neighborhood, peaceful and walk to nature footpaths. Close to all of the wonderful things the Bozeman area has to offer. The property is exactly as pictured and then some - overall well appointed and small touches that are unique from other properties such as a stash of granola bars and a few necessary toiletries if needed. Welcome included coffee and fresh creamer in the fridge. Owners are incredibly charming and friendly - and make sure to meet their pup who is equally charming! Highly recommend this guest house. It is private and extremely well done with high quality touches. The photographs of wildlife decorating the guest house are stunning!!

Wonderful stay in Bozeman
This beautiful and immaculate guest house was tucked in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes from downtown and MSU. We saved being able to cook several of our meals and enjoyed a washer and dryer. A couple of deer greeted us each morning. I recommended it to friends visiting the university!
