Very relaxed stay in Paradise Valley

My son, and his best fishing buddy, and two of my best buddies buddies came to Livingston to celebrate a couple of us retirement, fish together, and enjoy the week. The Green Acres lodge was perfect for our size group of 5 men. We all enjoyed the week and the view from the back deck was spectacular.

Perfection!

This home was incredible and had everything we needed to be comfortable. They have all of the basics and then things you had no idea you needed. The views are amazing, sitting in the hot tub watching fireworks was a highlight of our vacation. I really can’t say enough about how happy and comfortable we were here, thank you!!!

Green Acres Lodge

Beautiful setting on the Yellowstone River. Large house to accommodate 8 adults and 2 teens. Location only 15 minutes from Livingston, easy drive. Fully furnished with everything we could want. Bed linens, mattresses and pillows so soft and comfortable. Loved the hot tub. Peaceful location.

Best house in the Yellowstone River

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Green Acres! This trip was a celebration of my husbands 50th birthday and a bucket list to fly fish in Montana and visit the Yellowstone! The house was perfect for our group of 13! Everyone had plenty of space and we didn’t feel crowded! Our teenagers loved the game room area! And the location and views from the house were gorgeous! The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was fully stocked and the bathrooms had plenty of towels! This is a must place to stay when visiting Montana or looking to stay in the river!! Thank you JT for sharing your home!!

A fantastic place to stay

I book houses for groups quite often, and this is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. The photos do t do justice to the beauty of the location. The view of the mountains and the river alone would definitely be worth it. The furniture and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for people to hang out together in the main room, but also enough separate places for people to split up and have room. JT was a fantastic host and a quick communicator. I think the biggest bright spot (inside the house) was the kitchen. It was well stocked with everything you need to cook and had a very extensive spice cabinet. We will definitely be staying here again.

Fantastic house for a big group

We had a group of 8 with one 15 year old and Green Acres was perfect for us! The house has two living room areas. We mainly used the top floor living room but there are darts and a pool table on the second level which our teenager enjoyed. The views are spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the back patio having coffee or a cocktail. The kitchen is fully stocked and everything is labeled, which makes finding things so much easier. It’s super convenient to Livingston, Emigrant and the north gate to Yellowstone. We even did a rafting trip with one of the local guides and it worked out great. He dropped us off at the river access for the house making it super convenient for our group! Great place for a large family or friend group there’s plenty of space and it’s very comfortable!

Life on the Yellowstone

This property is aptly and as described in the VRBO listing. Communication with the owner was good and he quickly responded to my queries. My suggestion would be to change the check in and departure times. Check in make it earlier than 5:00 and check out later than 10:00. Those are late hours after traveling and early before leaving. Understand it takes time to turn over properties, but most hotels have a more generous check in and out policy. Otherwise, the house was well stocked with kitchen items and spices. Comfortable living room and great views of the Yellowstone River and mountains beyond. The hot tub worked when we were there which was great. Two levels made it easy to separate adults with no kids and adults with kids.

The location is perfect if you are looking for a spot close to Livingston and Emigrant. The house is plenty big for multiple families or friends. It is land locked though so even though it is right in the Yellowstone River, you need to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to a spot you can access the river to fish or raft.

Location! Location! Location! We stayed here a week with our 3 daughters and their young families to attend my niece's wedding at Sage Lodge. We were 8 adults (4 couples) and 3 toddlers. The house set up is perfect for young families. The location of the house is beautiful and very close to Livingston, local bars and restaurants and to Yellowstone.

The house was perfect for our group. It was clean and well maintained. We had a group of 9 including 5 children and there was plenty of space to spread out The views from the house were fantastic! The location was excellent to visit Livingston, Gardiner, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone, and more. I would most certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay during a visit to Montana!

Paradise Valley Vacation

The view from the deck is absolutely spectacular! House is very well equipped and a great location between Livingston and Gardiner. It was so roomy for the 8 of us.

Absolutely stunning views! I could sit on the back deck for days. JT was an amazing host, super responsive, and has created a truly welcoming vibe in the house. We had 10 people, ages 7-72 and everyone was comfortable and had a blast. You cannot be bored in this house! We brought binoculars to watch for wildlife on the hillside opposite the river, which was really fun (spotted a few elk!) but was surprised to have deer right across the fence a few times while sitting outside and even had a mother and baby hang out a few days. My daughters thought they were in heaven with bunnies to chase and fish they could scoop right up with a net in the river. You cannot go wrong staying here and we will definitely be back! Thank you!
