“When I arrived at the property, it was unstaffed. There was a list of eight telephone numbers to call. I called one and was directed to open several key safes before the right key was found. When I reached my room, I found that instead of being the “standard” room I’d booked, it was a cheaper “compact room” - much more cramped and much less pleasant. I felt that cleanliness and maintenance left something to be desired - there was cracked and flaking paint, the electrics felt to me pretty amateur……

“The purpose of this review is not to simply disparage the property, but to help improve it in the future. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The kettle in my room was used and full of water, and the shower curtain was filthy at the bottom. The only positive was that the sheets were clean. In addition, the parking issue was a nightmare; the staff gave no instructions on parking until I asked them about it, and they told me that I have to pay and reserve for a parking space. “The room was newly refurbished but it was not cleaned properly. I found packets of white powder behind furniture( suspected drugs); there was long dark hair in bed anf on the floor; booked well in advance and requested for roller bed only to be told there we taken offered to another occupant & had to make kids beds on the floor (fortunately we brought extra bedding); sharing the shower cubicle with 2 other families was not ideal; i sneezed the whole weekend from the electric diffusers but it……
