Cozy Cottage on South Long

Summary:
This newly remodeled cozy cabin on South Long Lake features two docks, lots of outside amenities, and a great patio & fire pit area. It is an ideal getaway for fishing and swimming or just getting up the lakes area. Come and enjoy beautiful south long lake. All your views from this cabin are gorgeous lake views! One level living... the loons are calling!

The Space:
This cabin is beautifully decorated and offers large patio area along with a fire pit area for relaxing watching the sunset. Fully stocked kitchen appliances and utensils for your convenience. Bedroom1 has a queen bed and bedroom2 offers 2 bunkbeds. There is a play loft for kids but should not be used for sleeping. There is good swimming and large yard for outdoor games. There is also a Lily Pad Float and 4 kayaks that you can use during your stay. Life jackets and paddles for the kayaks are also available. There is a propane grill for your use on the patio.

Lower South Long Lake is located approximately 10 miles south of Brainerd in Crow Wing County of north-central Minnesota. It covers 1,295 acres, which places it in the top 10% of lakes in Minnesota in terms of surface area. Lower South Long Lake has seven inlets and one outlet. It is approximately 47 feet deep at its deepest point.

When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Green Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead, Yellow Perch, Pumpkinseed.

Family summer getaway

We brought our teenage kids up here for a summer getaway and enjoyed every minute! This property was exactly as pictured. Very clean and adequately supplied with necessities. A nice short drive from the cities! The property manager even let us use the pontoon to tow our own boat when our battery died. Very much enjoyed the stay - we may be back next year!

Perfect family getaway

The cabin was exactly as pictured on VRBO. It is located on a quiet street right on the water. My boys enjoyed fishing from the dock, catching bluegill and rainbow trout. The loft was a quiet spot for our daughter to read or play on her phone. Everyone had their own bed, which is hard to come by when you're a family of 5. Having the pontoon boat on-site was a convenient amenity. We spent hours cruising the lake or relaxing on the lily pad. The town is only 20 minutes away and provides plenty of restaurant options and family activities. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to vacation and make memories.

Beautiful house and tranquil lake

We had the most wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage. The house was fabulous, and we felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. We rented the pontoon boat, which made it all the more enjoyable. Thank you to PMI Minnesota for accommodating us.

Stay at cozy cabin

I arrived at 4pm did no get the boat until 7pm. Work crew arrived at about 5pm to move the pontoon boat. By the time they were done we had started to eat and by the time we done it was late so we didn’t use the boat. It’s two bad there was a 3 day minimum rental on the boat because we only used it two days. The reason we didn’t give but a four star on cleanliness was because there was a lots of dust on air conditioner. Otherwise we had a great time.

Peaceful

Cozy Cabin is conveniently located between the airport and Brainerd in a quiet neighborhood. It is fresh and new, and delivers everything described in the listing. I think it would be an especially fun place for little kids stay since it has bunk beds, a loft, and easy, shallow swimming access at the lakefront.

Cozy and perfect!

Great cozy cabin for a long weekend. Cabin is nice and just like the pictures. Our kids loved the little loft area. The bunk room was great, but know it's super bright in the morning (bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in). AC worked great when we used it. Everything we needed for cooking/grilling was easy to find and plenty of bath and beach towels. We lucked out and the weather was perfect! We were able to spend all day, every day outside. The deck/patio and fire pit area were great - we were glad we brought extra chairs. Lake is so clear and quiet! it was still a bit chilly for swimming, but we had fun fishing off the docks. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Cabin in Brainerd!

We had a great stay at Cozy Cabin- it was such a cute cabin and was very true to the online pictures. The owners had everything we could possibly need for a great stay. This was our first time in the area and we loved it. We did not rent the pontoon boat but it looked nice- we did enjoy the use of the paddle boat. We would definitely stay here again!
