"We had a beautiful and peaceful 5 days at the camp. The camp was immaculately clean, extremely well organized, and provisioned with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in mid-October with overnight lows around 40F and used the electric room heaters but did not need the gas heater or extra / electric blankets.The camp is roughly equidistant between Acadia National Park and Deer Isle and was a great launching point for visits to both. Highlights of our vacation included star-gazing, sunrises, and bald eagle watching from the dock on the lake; Gorham Mountain Trail and Little Hunter's Beach in Acadia; coffee at 44 North and hikes at the Edgar Tennis and Settlement Quarry Preserves on Deer Isle; and drinks at Airline Brewing and dinner at Provender in Ellsworth. Be sure to plan ahead and make reservations for dinner in Ellsworth!"

"Perfect space for our family reunion, rooms were spacious and first floor bedrooms were ideal for our family members that don’t do stairs well. Great communication with the owner, too. House was clean and amenities were generous. Loved the eclectic decor! "

"Our trip was for a visit reconnecting with family for a long weekend and this 3-bedroom house provided a perfect location setting for our little reunion. The house is a newer construction and was immaculate - hopefully future guests continue to keep it that way. It provided a perfect layout for my mobility challenged mother - only one step up to the porch and rest was all one floor, plenty of open space and wide door openings for her walker. The house was tastefully decorated with plenty of sitting area space and we loved making use of the gas fireplace in the evening. Ceiling fans and TV's w/Roku's in every bedroom and in the master there was even a ductless split AC so we could keep our room as cool as "I" needed. The location was on a fairly busy main road but was set back enough that you didn't even notice. It had plenty of yard space for kids or a dog to safely run around - the surrounded set back woods provided privacy and a picturesque Maine look from the beautiful deck. It was a quick straight shot into the town of Ellsworth and just keep going into beautiful Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park. l feel you are mostly renting VRBO homes on trust & faith of accurate information so I personally find it important the responsiveness of the owner - this owner did not disappoint and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. I look forward to staying at this house in future. My on regret is I didn't get to see a moose wander out of the woods - lol! "

"This camp was perfect! We enjoyed star-filled skies at night, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and relaxing during the day, movie nights and firepit in the evening, and loved the loons, fish, and bald eagle. We visited the restaurants in Ellsworth and explored Acadia national park, bar harbor, and southwest harbor. Everyone enjoyed the week and we would love to visit again! "
