July 2018 Stay

Beautiful property and a beautiful week. Afternoon Delight was spacious and has a location that can't be beat. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a very poorly maintained property that needs a lot of work: busted oven door, busted handle to kitchen slider, kitchen slider door with condensation, outdoor backyard and lakeside patio lights that don't work, frozen kitchen cabinet doors, property grounds not at all maintained (weeds, overgrown bushes, lakeside patio was filthy when we arrived), strange loose electrical wire by the front entrance (dangerous?). The deck by the lake had nail heads sticking up so we had to walk very carefully to avoid cutting our feet, fortunately I brought a hammer and was able to repair some of this. The ladder from the lake onto the deck will fall apart if someone heavy attempts to use it. There were absolutely no site specific instructions left at the property. I would give this property 0 stars if this application let me do that.

We really enjoyed our stay at Afternoon Delight! The house was big and the view was stunning! The beds and pillows could use an update, but were relatively comfortable. The only big issue we had was that one of the bedrooms upstairs was not air conditioned. Also, there is no lighting going to the dock/fire pit, so be sure to bring flash lights to walk down there after dark.

Covid Escape

Great way to get away from home where we felt safe from exposure. Fantastic view, dated but beautiful lakefront home, lots of room inside and out to spread out.
