"I had a really good experience at check in. Being greeted by my name and even was given a tour of the property. My room was over looking the water but the bathroom was not clean. This property is currently under renovation for a new pool but the beach access was a plus. Sofia at the Palmette was very nice but the valet staff ahhhh. I wasn’t prepared to be questioned the way I was and even asked to show proof I was staying at the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my time in Tampa and the view I woke up to every morning!"

"Breakfast was good and staff was friendly throughout. No elevator for the detached building was an issue for luggage. Floor was dirty in the room that turned my son's bare feet black. Some of the electrical and usb outlets or adapters were not working and had to move cords around to charge things. Shuttle to the cruise port was good ($10 per person) but worth it."

"Room and bathroom were clean and smelt clean. The breakfast are was maintained and replenished frequently. Staff was very courteous."

"Breakfast was closed down by health department. Pool was freezing cold. Hallways were sticky and dirty. Laundry room reeked of mildew. Lots of “suspicious” activity going on in the rooms."

"Very clean free upgrade to suite. Saw a manatee as a welcome from the room window. The next day woke up to dolphins and sting rays greeting us!"

"Breakfast was a joke along with saying fairground and a casino which wasn't at the hotel. "
